Not getting health care at all at twice the price is a superior health care system to having to wait for health care. I get it now. How could I have missed that?

Look, anything free must of necessity be rationed. Otherwise people will abuse it and the amount needed to provide for all keeps rising faster than need can be met. Rationing of healthcare in countries with socialized medicine appears to be accomplished with wait times. If you could get right in to tell the doctor a story about your trick knee and why your grandkids are pantywaisted little pansies like all kids these days, then you’d be breaking the system.

This is why Obamacare didn’t work. It made healthcare basically free for the sickest and poorest people, which left them plenty of room to demand as much care as they could get whether they needed it or not. Further, it incentivized the insurance companies to approve unnecessary and expensive procedures because the more money they spent on care the more they could keep as profit and the more they could subsequently charge. This is why premiums kept spiking double digits for every single year since the act was enacted.

This doesn't make sense. You really think that when the percentage of people with health care went from 86% to 91% all the sudden there totally isn't enough health care to go around ? The number of old people is increasing quite a bit, which is and will be will be more of a reason for wait times and overall supply to decrease.

All the 84% or whatever it was before the ACA that had health insurance, which by your reasoning means they had free health care. Why didn't that break the system ?

Yep so true. Look at all those people all around the world lining up for their free colonoscopy day after day. The really lucky ones get 2 a day. A colonoscopy a day keeps the doctor away. People in those socialist health care countries wake up every morning thinking I really have to take unpaid time off work so I can sit with a bunch of sick people for an hour to get to see my doctor free. Actually I never got to see my doctor free in any of the socialist health care countries I lived in, it was always $20-30 for an office visit with a gp. Did they rip me off?

Maybe there is some waiting because they provide health care for half the cost with better results. Nay that couldn't have anything to do with it. BTW the word rationed means some people don't get. Waiting for something non urgent isn't rationed.
