I think she's conflating something that happened elsewhere and with somebody else, but the Political Environment has made her insert Kavanaugh's face.

Deep Down she knows this, and she knows it intellectually as a psychologist what happens with memories (they conflate readily esp. with distance from the event) hence the messed up affect.

Saw good chunks of it today. Ford looked and sounded like she was lying plain and simple. To say otherwise is ignoring the facts of her behavior during and leading up to this whole shit show.

It’s really got nothing to do with what Kavanaugh has to say. She was not compelling and the voice thing was weird as mentioned by a few already. Combine that with constantly talking to her attorneys after every question and playing dumb. You were either assaulted or not. There shouldn’t be a need to talk to two attorneys sitting next to you. I don’t get what she was asking them, the questions were really straight forward.

These judges are far from impartial. You can almost predict 9 out of 10 votes from all of them. I still don't get why one even wants the job outside of ego. He's an attorney that became a federal judge and has worked high up in the government. His connections should easily be able to get him paid $500k/yr in the private sector.

Frankly, that's why I believe he's telling the truth. He has nothing to lose by walking away and getting a higher paying job. He has more to lose by going through with the BS and potentially airing real dirty laundry from his past going through this process.

I have one issue with his testimony - it was likely from the heart and you can't fault a man for this, but when he was tearing up he actually played a bit into the leftoids hands. Actually, he will be impartial. He seems tough enough to not let this smear campaign change him. "Impartial" does mean he will occasionally throw the other side a bone because it is their turn, it means that he will hear out and consider all sides fairly, but render a judgement based on his interpretation of the Constitution. However, he may have to use some self discipline if a case comes up about the ability of a accused to seek damages against false testimony.

As far as Roe v Wade going down the tubes, I believe Kavanaugh considers that settled law. Even if Roe v Wade was overturned, all that means is the each state would decide on the legality of abortion. One state may have the procedure banned, another state may have unabridged abortion access, another state banned abortion after 2 months, and so on.
