What I'm really interested in is a good algorithm for defeating such idiocy.

A start is to understand the psychology behind the politics, and that WSJ article about how the left became consumed with hate is a fine exposition. With enough coherent building blocks like that, the weaknesses of the left should become very clear, and thus easy to use as pressure points.

One of those pressure points is the mothers of sons. Once a woman has a son, it is much harder for her to simply believe every allegation any other woman makes. She knows that women routinely use lies to gain power over men, and she knows her son is in great danger from the current "believe the woman even if she's probably lying" culture.

Another good pressure point is the fear that women have of getting old alone, which is in fact a likely outcome for militant feminists, because men are not attracted to man-hating women.

The inherent conservatism of Hispanics is another pressure point. Most Hispanics are traditional in family matters and generally more Christian that the US population as a whole. They are less likely to vote Democrat the more the Democrats directly attack motherhood and Christianity.

Any others you can think of?

Another reason supreme court needs conservative judges that can throw this nonsense out as unconstitutional.

Homosexuality is a direct assault on Christianity. The two are simply incompatible.

Many Hispanics don't go for the "women first" mentality that left has really been going overboard. That culture is also more traditional.

The new attempt by the left at political divide is "men vs women", and so far it's been fruitless for the Democrats I think. Because it is an attack on both Christianity and family unit. As it attempts to divide families, separate husbands and wives. And family is what it takes to create children. Lesbians and feminists don't produce shit. They are just bitter old hags who want to hurt the world to make up for their own stupid suffering.
