That is a good summary of what happened.

Trump got elected. Democracy worked in spite of the media giving direct orders to vote for Hillary or else.

And the world did not end. Just the opposite. Things got a lot better under Trump. Military de-escalation, economic boom.

All the pent up leftist Democrat hate is now coming out as BLM violence (mostly by white people!) and demands to kill as many businesses as possible because of a virus that 99.7% of people survive no problem. In fact, 99% of the people who died from Wuhan virus had severe health issues to begin with.

For you youngsters, that's Biden and Byrd, a high ranking member of the KKK. In his 2005 book, Robert C. Byrd: Child of the Appalachian Coalfields, Byrd recalled how his ability to quickly recruit 150 of his friends to the group impressed a top Klan official who told him, “You have a talent for leadership, Bob ... The country needs young men like you in the leadership of the nation.”

From about 1905:

It ain't new. It began among mainlines who embraced "Higher Criticism" and disavowed the plain language of the Bible, esp. in Western Mass and Update NY. Same sort responsible for banning alcohol, abortion, and eugenics. Right after Civil War period. Many secret Lesbians in what they called "Boston Marriages" even though these women had lots of relatives and could afford to live alone with servants.

Stupid analogy.
Masks are designed to stop the big drops going out of your mouth, not fine particles going in.

This highlights the most prevelent reason anti mask people hate masks.
Its because elected officials, infoemed by thousands of medical experts, told them they had to temporarily do something to save lives.

If people are so vulnerable because of comorbidities or compromised immune systems they should self isolate. This is the first time healthy people have been asked to quarantine and small business has been forced to shutter to "protect" unhealthy people. Why is that?

Not expecting a cogent answer.

But I can still hear them!

But seriously, how do we stop that super small cloud of viruses that fly through masks like mosquitoes through chicken wire?

Why are some healthy, young people dying of Covid-19?
Health experts aren't sure why some otherwise healthy, young people are suddenly dying of Covid-19, but they do have some theories.

One theory is that some people are genetically predisposed to developing more severe cases of Covid-19 than others. For example, Philip Murphy, a biomedical researcher at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, told Science Magazine's Jocelyn Kaiser that variations in a person's ACE2 gene receptor potentially "could make it easier or harder for the virus to get into lung cells."

Michael Skinner, a virologist at Imperial College London, said he believes it's "very possible that some of us could have a particular genetic makeup that makes it more likely that we will respond badly to an infection with this coronavirus."

Another theory is that some patients might have low levels of surfactant, a substance the body produces to help the lungs expand and contract, as a result of the disease. If a patient lacks an adequate amount of surfactant, their lungs will become stiff, which could explain why some patients have trouble breathing even if they're on a ventilator, CNN reports.

There's also a theory that the virus could be causing what's known as a "cytokine storm" in some young patients. The phenomenon, named after cytokine proteins which are part of the immune system, causes the immune system to overreact to an external pathogen, like a virus. The response ultimately could cause a patient's immune system to attack their lungs, causing their lungs to stop delivering oxygen to the rest of their body, and leading to respiratory failure and potentially death.

Other health experts suggest that patients exposed to larger amounts of the new coronavirus could become sicker than others. Alison Sinclair, a virologist at Sussex University, said, "A person with a high viral load has more virus particles than one with a low load. We do not yet know what impact viral load has on the symptoms of a person infected with Covid-19. Whether there is a link between a high viral load and worse outcomes is going to be important to find out."

But it is statistically insignificant.

I think we can count on 1 hand how many young and healthy kids have died of COVID in the US.

Based on all information we have today, the common flu is much more deadly to children than COVID by far.

So why harm millions of children (especially poor kids in abusive homes) by depriving them of education and stability?
7029   prodigy   2020 Jul 24, 11:56am

By not being around the cloud. ie social distancing
By not being a cause of the cloud. ie expelling large to minute size droplets, the smaller ones stay in the air longer, while evaporating, and eventually reach a size that can penetrate a mask prior to total evaporation

Can you please link to a story of healthy young people who are dying of Covid-19? Even an anecdotal story?

The info from the CDC I previously posted showed less than 999 people under the age of 25 years of age have died of Covid-19. Over 97,000 were over 65 and most, if not all, had comorbidities.
