That would be expensive and I am not a fan in that I think federalism is important and the states should have the power to make these decisions.
I’m really not worried about Trump winning the primary. Trump supporters can still do a write in for California if it even matters.
Gawd I hate our California government so much!
So, what is stopping them from keeping people of the ballot unless they are Democrats? Void the Republican primary completely. Sounds like Iran, when only government approved people are allowed to run for any election.
Tactical nuke in Sacramento will take care of that.

For Stupid Яep/Cons, States Rights!
How's that shit Яepublicans talk, going to taste, when they have to eat it.
".. would require presidential candidates to release five years' worth of income tax returns or not appear on the primary ballot."
California loves the 1st Amendment as in FUCK Trump.
Everyone that runs will have to release their tax returns.Dems,Independents,Libertarians,Marxists,ISIS,what have you & Trump. What are you hiding Trump?
BTW,It's not law,yet.
i don't think they can constitutionally keep someone off the ballot, as tax returns are not a constitutional requirement.
FortWayneIndiana saysi don't think they can constitutionally keep someone off the ballot, as tax returns are not a constitutional requirement.
They can’t. But they don’t care either. The internet fact check bill was clearly unconstitutional, but the mouth breathing Dems in California’s assembly and senate passed it anyway.
Really I don’t see how any thinking person can vote for any of them. Theyre all brain dead morons.
No private citizen should have their taxes thrust onto public display for the entertainment of political vampires.
