I wanted to start a thread to find out what people have simply listened to for their own education so I could learn more about how they form their point of view.

I generally don't have the patience for videos. I have too much to do.

So I read, usually poking at these once a day:

my point of view was formed after 9/11 when the msm all claimed that an aluminum airplane could penetrate a concrete and steel structure and then vaporize without leaving a trace. Also when they claimed a plane could crash in a forest and bury itself..After that I quit believing anything they say.
8   Patrick   2020 Dec 3, 8:42pm

For me, it was when the MSM claimed that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction and was involved in 9/11.

Both massive flagrant lies.

Haha, I would bet I spy with my little eye, a former "liberal". That's the side I went to, until I realized that Nancy Pelosi wouldn't impeach Bush for lying us into war, and that traitor Obama was installed.

Don't choose sides, select principles.

Never thought in a million years I'd be rooting for a billionaire that hosted a dumb reality television show, and certainly didn't think such a man would actually be good for the nation to be president, but here we are.
11   Patrick   2020 Dec 3, 9:25pm

Yup, I used to be the standard issue liberal.

I still find Trump cringeworthy at times, but damn, I'll take him any day over Biden or Kamala.

What we really need is a better Trump than Trump. Someone with the right message and principles, but not quite so offensive to the unenlightened half of the country that still thinks the Democrats are on their side.

I find him an improvement over anybody that was on the presidential ticket for president since 1988, with maybe the exception of Ross Perot.

Trump is offensive because he tells the truth. He's walking about a garbage dump and turning over rocks to expose the vermin underneath. The "unenlightened half" still hang on to the idea that the government is not entirely corrupt, just 1/2 of it is.

He blatantly stated that the MIC controls foreign policy. He's outright demonstrated our intelligence agencies and DOJ are corrupt. He's pointed out our news is propaganda - and he dumbs it down. For example, he doesn't call our propaganda "propaganda", he calls it "fake news". A lot on the right wouldn't be able to deal with a president calling our "news" the same thing that Goebbels ran, nor would they be able to easily handle knowing our FBI and CIA have more in common with the Stasi and the KGB than they do with what is depicted on teeeeveeee.

He's blunt, brash, and honest. He's precisely what this nation needed not another smooth talking liar that soft peddles the reality.

Surely you're not asking for a cut in the wool standard issue ass kissing politician?

Can you tell me, exactly what message and principles of Trump you don't agree with?

I find talk like that from Trump supporters to be nothing more than conciliatory ass kissing, and it does more harm than good.

Trump's flaws have never been made an issue(and he's got tons of them), the gripes against Trump are so far off the mark, that they are unreasonable.

He's not a meanie, he's not a racist, he's not uncooth. Especially when you consider he's been savagely attacked since he came down the escalator. The same people making up bullshit to say about him are the same ones that couldn't get enough of "Reality Show" Trump.
People who support Trump but say "I wish he would be more nice..." are just giving into the Liberals the same way we wear a mask knowing full well everything about it, is Bunk, Bollocks, and Bullshit, only to make the Commies feel like they are controlling the population and is turning America/World against Trump.

My issue with Trump is he talks like a braggart, and how he governs is some kind of contest. Let his observers say how great he is, let people other people say "I've never seen numbers like these before!".
This flaw doesn't bother me so much, but it gets detrimental to the survival of our Republic when he speaks in simple terms when there is some serious information that needs to be conveyed. Saying "if you look at(the numbers),(People),(Places)" diminishes the subject he's trying to bring attention to. What about the numbers, those people, that place?
How can people "Look at it" if the news isn't reporting it? It's up to Trump to educate people about the numbers, people, places when there is some sneaky shit going on.

His prerecorded speech, finally broke from that mold. He never once talked in Trump speak, superficially scraping the surface, he gave hard facts and numbers.

But as far as how he hurts scumbags feelings who try to disrespect the office of the President of the United States.

Personally I don't think he goes far enough to call them Scumbag Mother Fuckers, Commie sons of bitches and throw them out of the press conferences.

And I think he should have savaged the Scumbags when they inquired his handling of the BLM commie Rioters that tried to assault the WHite House, during his Bible thumping presser at the Church across the street. He should have banned 90% of the media from the White House, and had every organization that the Commie Media made him blackball early on. Like The Gateway Pundit, Breitbart, The Daily Caller, had they been at the briefings all along. More people would have been onto the Commie shitbirds and not been fooled by the Communist Propaganda that the MSM puts out.

Not only that, I would brought the Guard to Portland, and I would have led the line as they marched over the stinking Commies chopping down Man bun Soy Boys with batons and tazers.

He spent 4 years playing cutesy with them, and worrying and obsessing to not hurt their feelings, and how did he get treated? LIke he conducted himself exactly like I said he should have conducted himself above. They even stole an election. I think the bulk of his non supporters that aren't Demorats. Aren't sold on Trump because, while he lead the world with great resolve. He let the most insane brain damaged gender confused Faggots rule America. He's thrown us under the bus and has allowed constant assault on us.

To say he's a meanie, who lacks humility is bullshit. He's done nothing but kissed the wrong asses, while asking us for donations every 4 hours of every waking day of his administration.

The Left has a serious shit kicking coming if Biden gets inaugurated. They fail to realize Trump is Daddy keeping everything civil at this point.
They are about to experience what mean pissed off people are really like. And it will fucking HURT! Bad!

That's what the news media claims people want, and people absorb this and believe they actually want this.

I'm as disgusted with Adam Schiff lying about Russian Collusion as I was with George W. Bush lying about weapons of mass destruction programs. It's refreshing having a fairly honest politician as president. He's not said just one or two truths, he's told many. He's said straight up that the Iraq War was a terrible mistake. He said straight up John Bolton if he had his choice, war would be everything. He's pointed out that the MIC loves war. He's pointed out our news media is propaganda and stated it, plainly.

I appreciate that type of honesty. It opens up the Overton Window. Nothing Trump has said would I classify at an lie, much less a damned lie.

Just so you know, the guy being interviewed in the last video I posted is a homosexual. I'm going to push to break you out of your disdain for that "lifestyle" - not because I'm gay, but because I think you're incorrect. He's got a good mind, thinking is all that matters. Your greatest allies are the cast outs of your enemies.

My gay cousin shares my confusion - he once thought that a group that was persecuted would be smart, but nope - they are just dogmatic idiots, mostly. He's not, I'm not. Most people are just dogmatic, they have no actual principles, they just attach to a party and then absorb every insane policy of that party. Sometimes I wonder if sentience isn't a rare property among people, but that's dangerous thinking. I don't want to view the majority of people as things, but it's tempting at times.

I want to say something about my cousin. He married a woman once to get her out of the Soviet sphere of influence. He was nice enough to risk that to pull her out of an abysmal condition.
28   richwicks   2020 Dec 29, 11:09pm

Patrick says
Gayness is not innate. It is an acquired illness, spread for the most by via being molested as a boy by a gay man. There is zero evidence for any genetic basis for being gay, and quite a bit of contrary evidence, like identical twin studies. And it is utterly incompatible with evolution itself. You pretty much have to throw out evolution if you want to believe that something the kills people and prevents reproduction could persist as a genetic trait. Evolution would ruthlessly stamp it out in one generation.

I've heard otherwise with regard to twins - two twins separated at birth have a higher propensity for being homosexual but I realize the necessity of having to be suspicious about such studies.

And it may not be entirely incompatible with evolution. The purpose of being alive isn't to reproduce yourself, but to duplicate your genes. You don't necessarily have to duplicate YOUR genes, duplicating your brother's or your sister's genes accomplishes the same purpose. A non sexually reproductive sibling may advance the chances of consolidating resources to guarantee survival of your sibling's genes.

This is the current thinking in evolutionary psychology - at least the last I read. The concept is that you're a mechanism not to make yourself immortal, but to make your genes immortal, and to a lesser extent, your thinking immortal.

This would possibly explain why "smart" people are often aberrant. Consider Alan Turing, the brilliant gay English mathematician that broke all the Enigma codes save the last generation of it. You could argue he wasn't just advantageous to his immediate family, but to a wide swatch of generations related to him by destroying all encrypted communication of the Nazis and making WWII much easier to win.
29   HeadSet   2020 Dec 30, 7:47am

Not to take away from Turing (I saw that movie, too), as Turing was a brilliant man who invented the first computer and used it to decipher the Enigma messages. (Interesting that a major factor helping Turing was that the German encrypted messages always started with "Heil Hitler" which gave him a key to start with). However, his decoding did little to "win the war" but rather helped the British in some smaller campaigns, and then only when they would use it, as the British were afraid of tipping off the Germans that Enigma was broken. The Americans had similar code breaking skills with MAGIC and had thus broken the Japanese codes. What won WW2 in Europe was the USSR with its 360 divisions including 105,000 T-34 tanks. The British actually lost WW2, if you go by the British stated purpose for entering it - to restore Polish independence. At the end of the war, half of Poland was annexed by the USSR and the new Poland (which included part of Germany) became a complete vassal state run by Soviet generals.

Wait wait wait.

When Normandy was invaded, the English, the Americans, the Russians - ALL KNEW that the Germans didn't expect that invasion because of Enigma. The Allies fooled the Germans and knew it. Part of the reason Normandy was selected.

Enigma went a long way to winning WWII, but you're right, the Russians won. Enigma I'm certain saved millions of lives over the course of the war. WWII was brutal and must never do that again.

The complexity of the internet is in the switches. Unless you are communicating with a nearby machine, you're going through fiberoptic - they are high speed (terrifyingly high speed) switches. They have plenty of computational power in them, if they have backdoors, they can be taken out. I expect they do have backdoors.

I expect a "temporary" Internet interruption sometime this year. If this happens, what people will find out is that nearly everything is offline - phones, television, even radio. It all goes through the net today. Or, hopefully, I'm just being paranoid - but I'm seeing stuff I regularly read and listen to, being silenced slowly and systematically.

Klaus Barbie Schwab has already announced the next Globalist offensives after Covid: false flag internet, hacking and media blackouts, and choking off the farms and foods supplies to reign in submission. If they can't fool us with Covid, cripple us with comm attacks and blackouts, poison us with chemtrails, extort us with weather control, then they will starve us and cut off supply chains. Why does one wonder why 'philanthropist' Gates and the Chinese were buying up all that farmland?

Well I want to live through at least part of it. I want everybody who called me a conspiracy theorist 15 years ago to face me and say it to me again. I used to be so goddamned mad at people's indifference. I will say "I told you so"..

I'm pleasantly surprised that there is so many people resisting the vaccine. I think the globalist assholes have VASTLY over-estimated their ability to do effective propaganda. If the vaccine is ultimately fatal in a few years - or just sterilizes people, they'll realize who their enemy is. If it causes a die off, the survivors would certainly know and they would be entirely immune to propaganda after that point.

The question would then be left - will the rank and file of the military just follow orders, or will they revolt? It all depends on them. Militaries can, and will be bribed to maintain loyalty.

I think for the power structure to continue to exist, they have to convince the public that if there is a massive die off, it's not their fault. I think that's going to be a trick to do. You can't maintain order through force alone. You need believers in the system.
