I never thought I'd ever have to write this but based on how far apart the extreme left and the extreme right are, the fact that the governor of a State is actively resisting a Federal Agency, could we concevably see this 250 year old union fray to it's breaking point?

I don't see our difference as North vs. South or East Coast vs. West coast, but rather Urban vs. Rural; irreligious libertines vs. traditional values, thoes who make vs. those who take.

I don't see it at all to be honest. I think what we're seeing is the beginning of the vacuum to fill Trump's void when his term is over. The problem is people think they have to one up what Trump does and did. So we're going to get morons looking for stupid attention.

Reality is the left doesn't have the balls to do anything when it comes time for the rubber to meet the road. They also don't have the ability to do anything. Unions are more right leaning now. Ports and rail could be shut down over night to cities. A weapon wouldn't have to be fired. I know some talking heads keep bringing up civil war but that's all click and talk bait.

Most people have it pretty damn good right now. It's tight for the 35 and under crowd, but it has been for the last 20-30 years anyway. I don't see enough of a resistance on either side for anything to come to blows in the next decade or longer. No different than the 60-70's and hippies and we ultimately just ended up with more war. This a flash in the pan moment and history and Trump is generally the driver of it. He's gone in 3 years, potentially less if R's lose the midterms and he officially is a lame duck that can't get anything done through Congress. Just EO's that will get over turned.

All this shit is being funded by globohomo. If people had to support this on their own dimes, it would go away in a heartbeat. I see at my work in coporateland - when Trump decreed no DEI shit for federal contractors "Poof" it disappeared and is never spoken of.

That's why this immigration issue has to be nipped in the bud. All of our largest cities are now majority third world. Yes, I just read that the coordinated efforts to track and publish ICE plates through the Signal app were found to involve Minnesota state officials. If true, that illegal activity gives Trump some leverage.
