I’d wager that Union voted Trump 90-95%.
Keystone XL remain the safest and most efficient modes of energy transportation
Agreed! beats the heck out of tanker trucks or trains. Way better than shipping it over from the middle east. Wouldn't you agree?
I'm not sure. A pipeline seems like a single (unprotectable) point of failure.
The most hysterical part of this is that oil comes from the ground anyway. It used to ooze out of the ground in places like Texas.
These pipelines all have shut off options every X number of miles. I really don't understand why democrats are averse to this topic.

I really don't understand why democrats are averse to this topic. Consumers spill more gas and oil fueling up their car or changing their oil on a daily basis than these pipelines ever will. Outside of catastrophic events like oil tankers, trains or drilling platforms in the water going south, it's relatively safe tech.
For the politicos, it would be airlines instead special trips in government jets.
What's the end game, "Death to America"?
I really don't understand why democrats are averse to this topic.

“In revoking this permit, the Biden Administration has chosen to listen to the voices of fringe activists instead of union members and the American consumer on Day 1. Let me be very clear: When built with union labor by the men and women of the United Association, pipelines like Keystone XL remain the safest and most efficient modes of energy transportation in the world. Sadly, the Biden Administration has now put thousands of union workers out of work. For the average American family, it means energy costs will go up and communities will no longer see the local investments that come with pipeline construction,” said Mark McManus, General President of the United Association.
“New advancements in technology mean that these pipelines are a low-carbon method of energy transportation and a critical part of delivering affordable energy while achieving our shared climate goals. Keystone XL would not only be constructed entirely by union labor, but it would be the first pipeline fully powered by renewable energy.”

They got stabbed in the back on Day 1, so much for their dues being donated to the guy who just fired them all.
