That's the point an author made in a book whose title I can't remember. He said while it might sound unfair to brand a whole generation as irresponsible, such a large contingent of the Boomer generation did fall under the thrall of all the self-destructive tendencies that it really was representative of them even if it wasn't 100%. It's when we started on the pathway to 40% white and 70% black out-of-wedlock births we have today, which would have seemed impossible and suicidal 50 years ago.

I do think that the spread AIDS was an inevitable result of men promiscuously fucking each other in the ass. Gay "liberation" resulted in mass death.

These kind of things are forbidden by all major religions because those religions evolved over centuries and people saw for themselves that gays inevitably get horrible diseases from effectively sharing their bloodstreams with all and sundry. So they made religious rules to protect public health. They probably thought they were just following God's will, and in a sense they were right.

@Shaman there will certainly be another disease which will kill people who do this kind of thing. It will go on like that forever. People breaking the ancient rules and then once again learning why those rules were made in the first place. Sadly, they will probably again take innocent people with them via blood transfusions too.
