Liberals absolutely do and that was on full display from many liberal defense attorneys most notably Alan Dershowitz.

Most modern Democracts are fascists, not liberals. Ironic that they spent so much time calling President Trump a fascist while incapable of citing even one fascist act taken by President Trump, yet they call for the end of due process, one of the strongest guards we have against fascism.
