So yeah, the mainstream "Matrix" fans are way behind their times, if they think that that movie was revolutionary. The "Matrix" was Gibson's "Neuromancer" but as a fleshed out screenplay than a one off novella.

There's a Cyberpunk 2077 computer game for playstation, maybe I'll get it, but supposed to be buggy. I love the Deus EX series games, played the first one on Mac computer.

IMHO, the 'Matrix' was done, starting episode 1.

All of its Cyberpunk & cultural contributions were completed by movie's end and yes, Trinity's contribution was a joke, esp given that 'love could heal a bullet wound' was the punchline of that finale.

Afterwards, what was left to do? To have "Section 8" Zion denizens fight some roving sentenials?!

And when Neo & Trinity returned from their journey in the Matrix to Zion capital city & boinked away like any normal couple, that Neo was suppose to 'heal' these poor 3rd worlders, outside of his apartment building? Last I'd checked, he didn't have healing powers, only the ability to manipulate the computerized virtual reality of the Matrix. That entire Mother Theresa/Jesus Christ scene was a joke! The most he could do was give a pep talk and then perhaps, direct 'em towards Rin who could perhaps supply 'em with vitamins and supplements to heal their sore knees, swollen gums, hemorrhoids, etc.

Ok, I decided to watch the ending of Matrix 4 and it was so lame that I regretted it.

First of all, Neo could not fly w/o Trinity's help. So yes, the movie was 'The Rise of Trinity' where the two needed to be co-joined for them to have any power and thus, the theme of the end thing was that Doogie Howser, the bad guy (a.k.a Analyst), kept these two bozos around each other w/ amnesia so that he could harness their collective power for his own Matrix protocol. And then, the former Agent Smith (not played by Hugo Weaving) gets to play anti-hero in saving the day for the couple.

Seriously, this is the whole construct of M4 ... that the love of Neo-Trinity could energetically stabilize an entire VR world led by Doggie Howser.

Watched it with kid, we both thought it sucked.

No, sucked is a schlock vampire re-make, like 'Dracula 2000', where some bozo cuts himself over Dracula's coffin and thus, reawakens the Nosferatu and then ... you can pretty much predict the rest of the movie.

In contrast, M4 is just plain retarded. At least Dracula was banging a few hotties, including Jeri Ryan, so you could have some fun watching the film. M4 is not watchable.

Just watched it the other night. Agree it is terrible.
Not sure if it was literally lit on fire by the trannies after getting tired of being pressured by movie execs to make another (this is in the dialogue for the game, the naming of the after-bosses) or if it was just a projection of tranny mental illness (so many inuendo / code-language it was disgusting). I did have the thought that it would be pretty funny if someone shopped a troon's face over Rabbit, stubble and all, since obviously that character is a projection of what the trannys idealize themselves as.

I respect Keanu and whats-her-name showing fealty to the creators for giving them the original roles... I think that's the only reason those two came back (and the easy money, of course). It sounded like a sequel was planned so who knows if they can right the ship.
