It’s Not Science That Has Changed; It’s the Political Calculus
The biggest head-turner might well be Leana Wen’s blithe statement that “the science has changed.”
Since the very beginning, crazy people like me have passionately and loudly defended dignity, compassion, reason, and human rights above the screeching fear-mongering of politicians and the money-hungry boardrooms at CNN and Pfizer.
For two years, we insisted – rightly, as the data shows – that Covid was not nearly as big of a threat as the restrictions that stripped people of their humanity and the will to live. For two years, we insisted – rightly, as the data shows – that lockdowns and restrictions would not save lives.
It's time that those in power be held accountable for the wreckage they left in the wake of their hubris!

Reality is hitting harder by the day.
Remember: they only made the submission LAST WEEK.
it’s unravelling fast now.
you’re going to see the “lock down and mask up” crowd claim they knew all along that this did not work and disavow their role in generating and perpetuating this crisis.
those who censored and vilified and silenced will take up the flags of those they had just shouted down and wave them as their own.
in 3 months, you will struggle to find ANYONE who admits to having supported this debacle.

and we’re going to remember.
dear “experts”,
while it’s nice to have you finally join us, we have some questions:
where were you when we needed you?
you could have stood. instead, you cowered and you quailed.
you lied and you knew it.
you not only allowed these outrages and denials of science to occur, but many of you cheer led for them. those who were silent merely added to the problem by allowing it to appear as “settled” when it was nothing of the sort.
how can we ever trust you again?
the moment came and you failed.
you lay down and you fed us to the wolves.
in the end, your cupidity and cowardice enabled this excursion into oppressive pseudoscientific demagoguery and dictatorship.
We're pro-vaccine but can't support California lawmaker's school COVID vaccine mandate

Dr. Tracy Beth Høeg,
What will the next "crisis" look like? With COVID Mania getting stale, the ruling class needs another distraction

After two years of robbing billions of people across the world of their lives and livelihoods, it seems that the global ruling class has decided to roll back their prized biomedical security state. As these monsters try to wipe their hands clean of the greatest humanitarian catastrophe of the 21st century, we must remain vigilant about the possibility that they will attempt to seamlessly pivot to the next “crisis.”
I'm feeling quite uneasy about all of this coordinated reversal. They have something up their sleeve.
California bill would require COVID-19 vaccines for all employees
The proposed legislation by Democratic state lawmakers that was immediately criticized by Republicans as government overreach.

Assemblywoman Buffy Wicks introduced her bill months after delaying an original proposal last fall. The previous version would have allowed workers to submit to weekly testing as an alternative to getting vaccinated, but that is not an option in her new proposal.
Wow, some people in the CA legislature did not get the memo.

Another House Dem bites the dust in Tennessee
By Nate Ashworth -January 28, 2022
Yet another House Democrat has announced retirement rather than face the wrath of voters angered over President Biden’s awful handling of the country. Rep. Jim Cooper of Tennessee’s 4th congressional district will be stepping aside and not seeking reelection in November after 32 years in Congress.

If the Guardian is publishing this on vax skepticism, there has been a sea change.

(4) Fauci admission of “noble lies”
(5) low efficacy
(6) doesn’t slow spread

So I first heard that Vitamin D was a factor in Covid outcomes back in spring 2020.
Nearly a full 2 years ago.
Anyone who mentioned that outside careful whispers was immediately banned from polite and professional society.

Why CDC doesn't require testing at end of isolation: Director
The newly updated CDC guidelines don't require testing at the end of isolation because PCR tests can stay positive for up to 12 weeks, CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky told "Good Morning America" Wednesday.
"So we would have people in isolation for a very long time if we were relying on PCRs," Walensky said.

"This means that for the past 21 months, people sat home for extra days and weeks because their test came back with an irrelevant positive. We didn’t know this 6, 12, 18 months ago? Really?"
