Remember when this winter started with good rains in.the west all these articles by climate "scientists" and globahomo agitprop "news" corporations about how this will be a dry winter for the drought stricken west despite initial rains. Fuck you moron sell-outs, this will go down as one of the wettest winters in recent history in the west. Reservoirs should be full to the brim but I'm sure politicians made sure there is enough drainage and poor planning so they can keep promoting state of emergencies and fuck over their constituents.

Own a pool with a leak in just one spot on the bottom. There's leaks in the oceans. It gets filled back up with rain and the evaporates again. If the ice caps melted nothing would change. It's plate movement that changes sea level and that takes forever, yet we make policy on climate change that makes no difference.

CO2 is good for trees. Water levels haven't changed in 150 years with photographic evidence. It's an industry that was created to make a profit. It might be the biggest snake oil campaign ever.

I'm only arguing the idea you and 10lb have about adding water to the ocean making it sink below the bottom floor of the ocean. It is a neat idea though and I remember when he stated it. It's just not true. Water isn't being pushed below the sea floor, then making lateral movements into continents, eventually coming out as rivers and streams. It's water precipitation that saturates the mountains, valleys and plains.

There are large amounts of water that gets trapped and pushed down when the plates get pushed down.

I seem to recall with some of our newer technology they've found so much water in some places underground that they are effectively oceans.

Okay: https://ssec.si.edu/stemvisions-blog/there-ocean-below-your-feet

The theory with these cats is that the oceans were formed when water came up out of the mantel from 400 miles down. The opposite of what you propose.

Remember that the #1 issue facing voters this election season is climate change. At least according to some leftist POS.

Unfortunately, the real issue is abortion, and that draws too many female votes.

Whether they're being honest or not, I don't know a single female voting for Harris. My mom might be the only one but she has TDS. I don't even know if she's voting for Harris though. Kamala is just so unlikable. Hillary Clinton could at least speak about her positions even though I didn't agree with them. Kamala just doesn't say anything of substance and I don't think that many Americans are that retarded yet.

Given the wars and conflicts I don't see any man 18-80 voting for her thinking she could run the country if we got involved in a conflict abroad. I don't think most women trust her either. This is why I keep going the landslide route.

I know at least two, both from Texas, and they are literally single-issue voters. Their mantra "we have daughters, so abortion is be all, end all issue".

There are leaders of some countries that believe that the reparation Gods will smile upon them and that "Rich" countries will dole out hundreds of billions of dollars per year to those "Poor" countries for their various losses due to Climate Change.

Who cares? We're all gonna die. Just be happy the BRICS nations aren't fucking like bunnies. If global warming is real, we have 200-300 years for it to be evident. In that time crops will have a higher yield and be able to be grown in more places. Water level won't rise.

I don't see a problem. Either way, who can control a flying fucking globe in dark matter called space? Earth will eventually be fucked. Won't dispute that. Has nothing to do with humans though. We orbit around a hot glob of super molten lava. We're lucky to even be alive. Enjoy it and don't bitch (not any user here).

Huh? Indians and South Africans sure do. Chinese used to but stopped. Soviets can't get it up (because vodka) and are working hard on killing themselves off in the meat grinder assaults in the pointless colonial quagmire, but it offsets only so much.

Wind and Solar Construction Costs Rose in 2022, Natural Gas Fell
Nat gas is about half the construction costs of wind and solar

Per kilowatt of capacity, natural gas construction costs averaged $820 in 2022, whereas average solar construction costs rose to $1,588 and average wind construction costs rose to $1,451. Natural gas construction is about half as expensive as either solar or wind. And that’s before considering that solar and wind are only running between a quarter and a third of the time.

Increases in solar construction costs were driven by a 13% increase in crystalline silicon tracking panel costs, the kind of solar panel that follows the sun’s movement and the most common type of U.S. solar panel installation, which increased to $1,605 per kilowatt. Wind turbine construction costs were driven by wind farms with turbines larger than 100 megawatts of capacity and less than 200 megawatts, which grew by 10%.

Natural gas construction costs decreased largely due to sharp decreases in the cost of combined-cycle facilities, which declined 42% in 2022 to $722 per kilowatt. Combined cycle is the most common type of natural gas-fired generator, is highly efficient, and is used for baseload consistent power generation.

"In 2014, intelligence led then NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen to conclude that Moscow had colluded with environmental groups to block fracking in Romania, Lithuania and Bulgaria. "Russia, as part of its sophisticated information and disinformation operations, has actively engaged with so-called non-governmental organizations - environmental groups opposed to shale gas - to maintain dependence on Russian gas imports," Rasmussen said.

... the large interannual-to-decadal variability in Antarctic sea ice makes this analysis inconclusive about the sign or pattern of Antarctic sea ice response to anthropogenic forcing over the historical period.

The paper seems to be saying that sea ice varies a lot anyway, and that variation can't be certainly linked to human activity.

A new paper written by zoologist Dr Susan Crockford to mark International Polar Bear Day today has found that global polar bear numbers have continued to rise. Numbers have been steadily increasing since 2005, with 2018 data estimating the highest number of polar bears globally since they were protected by international treaty in 1973.

Man makes an apparatus to observe something in the natural world that has never been measured nor observed ever before.
One week later, shockwaves are sent through the Scientific community as a published paper from some grifting unaccountable unaudited institute stating that it's worse it's ever been, and the last time it was anywhere near this bad was 100 years ago.

This is the constant pattern of Climate Doomers, and it was that reason alone that I was calling BULLSHIT on the global warming, climate change bullshit, since the 90's. I've been there all along giving those lying bastards the riot act of the scam of bullshit they were feeding. Then after Al cry me a river Gore was gloom and dooming global warming. I was mostly alone, 90% of everyone on the planet was fully brainwashed to believe every last word of the inconvenient truth. I was a lone voice in early Patnet days. You wouldn't believe the charts I had to wade through.

By time Covid came around and everyone was so damn willing to muzzle themselves and stand 6 feet from the nearest person. I knew I saw that behavior before.

Cha... If everyone can stop being gullible fucks, that would be great!

I asked gab.ai about Hunga Tonga and the Baltic:

Tell me about the Hunga Tonga eruption's effect on Baltic sea ice.

The Hunga Tonga eruption on January 15, 2022 had a significant impact on the climate and atmosphere, which in turn affected the sea ice conditions in the Baltic Sea. The eruption released an enormous amount of energy, water vapor, sulfur dioxide, and other gases into the stratosphere. This caused a temporary cooling effect as the sulfur particles interacted with sunlight, reflecting some of it back into space and reducing the amount of solar radiation reaching the Earth's surface. This cooling effect was observed in various parts of the world, including the Baltic Sea region. The cooling influence from the eruption likely contributed to the formation and thickening of sea ice in the Baltic Sea during the months following the eruption. In addition, the atmospheric disturbances caused by the eruption, such as changes in wind patterns and air pressure, can also influence sea ice growth and distribution. These factors, combined with the usual seasonal cooling in the region, led to the formation of more extensive and thicker sea ice in the Baltic Sea later in 2022.

Huh, I also read recently that because water vapor is a greenhouse gas, the Hunga Tonga explosion made the earth warmer. Supposedly that one explosion increased atmospheric water vapor by 10% globally, which is a really huge change. So maybe it first made the earth cooler by blocking sun, then later hotter because water vapor is a greenhouse gas.

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9285945/

In contrast, the H2O injection was unprecedented in both magnitude (far exceeding any previous values in the 17‐year MLS record) and altitude (penetrating into the mesosphere). We estimate the mass of H2O injected into the stratosphere to be 146 ± 5 Tg, or ∼10% of the stratospheric burden. It may take several years for the H2O plume to dissipate. This eruption could impact climate not through surface cooling due to sulfate aerosols, but rather through surface warming due to the radiative forcing from the excess stratospheric H2O.

gab.ai is actually blocked at the Peets Coffee where I am right now, because it is too politically incorrect for whomever is in control of the wifi. So I had to tether to my phone to query gab.ai here. I find more and more that whole websites are blocked by wifi in various public places for political reasons.
