how are we supposed to feel when we found out wuhan lab was bio weapon research and last 2 years were in lockdowns because covid was released or escaped from it. some countries are still locked down over it.

The difference between weaponization and gain of function is alleged purpose.

There is no such thing as a 'defensive' biolab. They exist to develop agents to kill and maim offensively, that is their only purpose. It takes some exotic bullshit propaganda to ever attempt to portray biolabs as 'defensive'. I suppose they are defensive in the same way an atom bomb is defensive if you manage to get the drop on your enemies and deliver the first volleys before they can get their own missiles off the ground.
