Imagine how weird it would be if American kids were assigned books on the Mongol raids into China from grades 6-12. A museum to honor those killed in the Mongol raids is put up in every major city in the country. Kids take field trips to the National Museum of Mongol Victims right next to the Capital Building. They are taught how important it is to make sure we never allow Genghis Khan to rise ever again.
Every single villain on the world stage is compared to Genghis Khan to justify sending young men to die in forever wars to protect the Chinese. Over $400 billion in aid is sent to the Chinese to stop the never ending Khan menace. Millions of foreign refugees are resettled in our country as a result of these wars resulting in cultural changes and terrorist attacks at home.
The mainstream media warns about the radicalization of young men into “Khan Riders” that are a threat to our democracy. One of the two major parties is branded as Khanists to incite violence against them. Anyone who asks questions about this arrangement is labeled a Khanist sympathizer and a traitor to the nation often resulting in financial, social, or physical harm. The platforms that allow questions to be asked are bought by Chinese billionaires. The Chinese president openly proclaims he has control over American politics and is probably right. In this nightmare world the American people, from top to bottom, have no control over their own country.
But that would be crazy and couldn’t ever happen. Now all of you get back to October 7th, our newest national holiday.
Notice there is no monuments built to commemorate the millions of Soviets or hundreds of thousands of American and British soldiers who died defeating the Nazis and liberating the camps.

There are in Russia. And some in East Germany. Big fuckers. 50 foot tall statues.
As part of the reunification agreement, Germany was supposed to protect and maintain them. But most have fallen to vandalism anyway. For obvious reasons, they weren't popular with East Germans.
