Since we know the numbers are going to suck since Peppermint Patty is leading the Amen Corner Media to blame Putin for it:

Frankly, I prefer my spaceship to have big tits and not fake inflated ones.

EDIT - numbers drop:
America goes back to the 80s: Surging gas prices and higher rents push inflation to 41-year high of 8.5% as White House blames it on Putin invading Ukraine
The consumer price index rose 8.5% in March from a year ago, the fastest increase since December 1981
Housing costs, which make up about a third of the index, have escalated and show no signs of cooling
Gasoline prices soared 49% in March from a year ago as the war in Ukraine rocked energy markets
Biden's administration tried to get ahead of the dire inflation news by blaming Russian leader Vladimir Putin
But Republicans place the blame for soaring prices on 'Democrats' reckless spending and failed policies'

We went to a locally owned diner for brunch on Wednesday. First time there since before the COVID closures.
That place has been an institution in the neighborhood.

Oh my freaking gosh. The prices are so high now. There's no way they can survive charging those prices, and probably no way they can survive if they reduce the prices.

They're doomed.

Don't worry the government will send out some more "Inflation Relief Checks" to the poor to solve the problem.

You can't even buy a sandwich for under $10!

Biden is fighting inflation. Remember those millions of dollars worth of crack pipes he gave away for free?

Gas prices should not increase as United States oil rig count has reached early 2020 levels. World rig count is below early 2020 levels by about 10%.

How Corporations “Get Away With Murder” to Inflate Prices on Rent, Food, and Electricity

Antitrust expert Hal Singer shows how big businesses in certain industries are taking advantage of inflation worries to jack up prices far beyond their cost increases, all the while raking in robber-baron profits.

The cost of Christmas dinner is up a jolly 16.4% over last year!

This is one huge cost of election fraud by the deep state/Democrats.

"Inflation is only 7 percent!" they say, as eggs top $5 a dozen

Remember way back in the ancient times of 2019 when you could get a dozen eggs for under a buck?

Remember last year when those prices started climbing and it seemed like $2.50 for a carton was bad?

Buckle up. ...

Think about that. Just over two years ago, you were paying less than 10 cents for an egg. You could make yourself a large breakfast omelet with five eggs for half a dollar.

Now you're paying $2-$3 for the same thing.

Heck, just a few years ago, you could get a pretty large omelet at Waffle House of Denny's for three bucks! Those were good times. Too bad Joe Biden had to build us back "better."

Would be better with x time units, but the point is clear.

All of this is Biden's fault.

Of course, all Democrats who suppored/still support Biden are also to blame.

Karine Jean-Pierre: “Biden’ s economic plan is indeed working,”

FACT: Real wages are down, Americans are poorer than when Biden took office, and inflation has been at or above 5% for 20 months.

I have a logsheet in my truck where I've recorded every fuel purchase since May 2006.

On May 15th of that year I paid $3.31 per gallon.

Last week I paid $3.80 per gallon.

That computes to annualized 0.8% (0.008x) inflation rate for gasoline in San Jose over the past almost 17 years.

The Sky Is Falling Down.

You don't understand what is going on.

Our financial system has been attacking commodities for over 40 years. Energy and raw materials have been subsidized by the US government with US tax money for at least 40 years.

WHEN the reckoning comes, it's going to be devastating. Price the national debt in terms of any commodity - sugar, oil, gold, silver, anything, and you'll see something alarming. When it corrects, and it will correct, housing will be trivially inexpensive, and potatoes will and sugar will seem like luxuries.

We always return the mean, but it can take decades, even centuries. You know what a house cost in 1900? About $2,000 dollars and that was a pretty nice and comfortable home. That was about 1,500 ounces of silver.

The greatest fortune I had in my life is that as a kid, I had the wherewithal to talk to my elders who were young men and women when the Great Depression hit. I know what's coming, what I don't know, is WHEN it's coming.
