They do this when they are preparing to steal the election, they will say, the news of a Red Wave drove out their base.
Because they could not explain cheating any other way.
2   Hircus   2022 Oct 18, 7:36am

I predict theyll also blame the loss on putler.

Especially if some bold russian move happens in the next few weeks. The chinese gas export ban to EU might be part of it - briben can say mean russian man made the chinese stop exports, causing an energy crisis, causing dems to get blamed.

The Great Die-off has barely begun. Maybe enough to matter for this election, but EVERYTHING is going against Democrats in This election regardless. So they’ll lose bigly.
But 2024 should see it in full swing. Democrats are hosed there. It will be mostly their voters dropping dead everywhere.
I predict that by 2028 the Democrat party will either cease to exist or be utterly taken over by a reform party like maybe Tutsi Gabbard leading a reform. The few who are left will beg for it.

Uganda has an Ebola outbreak I guess. No vaccine for this version.... Lockdowns forthcoming is my guess. Not making a prediction, but wouldn't surprise me if something happens over the next two weeks. Halloween cancelled for kids. Everyone stay home. Oh... and mail in your ballot and not see a person physically at a polling place.

This. I expect the cheat will be in.

What I really love about the Democrats is that there’s just ZERO self reflection. They aren’t saying, “where did we go wrong?” They’re just flailing around like a wounded crocodile, thrashing in the mud and making a mess. Dangerous but not inspiring!

This is part of a much bigger problem for them in general. Which has been extensively pontificated over in the Why do liberals lack critical thinking skills? and other threads.

Soys and Fems are emotional, not logical.

It's that easy.

This and "democratic votes always come in late via mail-in balloting"

Watch out. This is a good sign but could also be a bad sign. Nothing is a coincidence, its all planned or semi-planned.

Right, it may be a set up.

Doesn't matter if they just rig a few key elections or if rinos win.

I still wouldn't underestimate the wielders of election fraud. California is so completely captured, the road back to true elections again is fraught with echoes of revolution verging on arms. It's why Newsom deploys snipers, they know they are fucking the population and they fear getting fucked back.
14   mell   2022 Oct 23, 2:15pm

CA is fucked short to midterm in the cities. But a red wave everywhere else will likely slow down their ambitions to fuck even more with this beautiful state. We've got the rural areas turning red at least.

I don't know CA though, but the women polling right is huge. In a deep blue state like IL, incumbent House members are ALLLLLLLLLLL pulling the abortion bull shit on their TV ads when we have it on in the background. EVERY commercial for a Democrat is about women's rights.

Sorry for the all caps, but it's really insane here. Therese are House members that should be shoe ins. Republicans are barely advertising here. 10:1 would be my back of napkin guess. Dems are scared.

Same syndrome. At least some of the slaves start talking about to switch to Rep after long time!
Did anyone notice, Biden stopped campaigning! Looks like all Dems must be pleading Biden not to visit any place who drives folks to vote for Reps.

Maybe to let the Republicans take the blame when the Dem destroyed economy does not recover in time for the 2024 vote.
21   AmericanKulak   2022 Oct 24, 10:18pm

It's possible NYS may get a Republican Governor and DA. It's chancy, but they're within reasonable striking distance.

Would love if that happens, the Dems will have a apoplexic fit

One of the core strengths of the late, great, sorely missed, Rush Limbaugh was his ability and willingness to constantly reground his listeners concerning basic truths. We tend to forget basics in the heat of political battle, usually to the detriment of conservative causes and candidates.

An excellent current example of this has to do with polling. I cannot believe how many conservative pundits, radio/podcast hosts and writers react to polls early in the season with dismay or even panic. “Beto is within three points of Abbot!” “Fetterman up seven over Oz? How can that be?” The answer is: you’re right, it can't be. It isn't true. Please stop getting suckered in.

Every election cycle Rush would re-educate us on how to correctly look at polling. Up until the final four weeks before election day, the goal of mass-market pollsters is not to provide an accurate reflection of public opinion, it is to shape public opinion. They will tweak their selection criteria and questions to produce a result that maximizes liberal engagement and depresses conservatives. Most well-known national polling companies are joined at the hip with the leftist establishment and behave accordingly. Nobody should believe any poll conducted more than a month out. (The only possible exception to this are internal polls paid for by the campaigns themselves.)

But when we get close to election day, that behavior changes.
Now the polls produced by the big polling outfits will help define their reputation for accuracy moving forward. No pollster wants to be known as “the one who got it wrong” and so they actually begin to reflect the public's actual position. Every cycle the result is the same: the polls swing toward Republicans as we get closer.

In recent weeks we have seen that realignment happening, right on schedule. We like to think that this represents that the public is moving in the “right” direction. It really means that the pollsters are moving in the direction of basic honesty, because their careers depend on it. The voters have been in the right place all along.

Why? Why are so many organizations (media etc) aligned with the left? What's in it for them? If it's $$, why don't the Republicans simply pay them off also?
25   Shaman   2022 Oct 25, 7:48pm

Because their owners want it that way. I am not sure why they want the media to be so left wing, as I’m no mind reader, and it’s the actions of only a handful of actual people that decide these things. Your guess about that is as good as mine.

Also, perhaps the Class/Professional Allegiance of the Media and Political Class explains it. For decades now, we have a lot of senior officials and politicians and lobbyists and media figures and media managers all married and carousing with each other.

So they do each other favors, until the last weeks when they say "Okay, I helped, but now I gotta report more accurately so I keep my reputation". This also benefits the Media because they can say "Tune in daily, look how fast races can change! Our next segment is sponsored by Merck..."

Another source of favors would be professional/data networks to be shared with amongst them. "You get me an exclusive with CEO, in return I will run these bullshit polls you made on the show I'm producing and hype you up, I'll even have you come to talk about them. But you gotta set me up for half an hour with Mr. CEO."

a recent poll from the New York Times that showed only 8% of Americans were worried about the “The State of democracy” heading into the midterms.

https://bigleaguepolitics.com/americans-view-the-corporate-media-as-a-major-threat-to-democracy/
Different but kinda similar poll, very different results.

59% of respondents specifically replied that the corporate media poses a “major threat to democracy,” with 24% indicating that the corporate media poses a “minor” threat to democracy. Only 16% believe there’s no threat to democracy.

According to a Just the News report, the attitude towards the corporate press was “strikingly bipartisan.” 95% of Republicans, 83% of independents, and 70% of Democrats describing the press a threat. By contrast, only 38% of Democrats consider the media a “major” threat, whereas 80% of Republicans and 53% of independents view it as a threat.

Its good to see that widespread people now see the media for what it is.

CNN is trying to woo you back. Despite new management, CNN+ is in the toilet along with regular CNN. Fuck those assholes. It's just about eyeballs and advertising money. Let them die.
29   WillyWanker   2022 Oct 30, 1:43am

I won't put it past the American left to steal the elections in enough states to make a difference. They stole the election for #FJB, what makes anyone think they won't do it again? The media is complicit. The media don't care as long as everyone is made to tow the line.

I pray I am wrong, but I have lost the faith. Doesn't mean I don't vote. I still do. Yet now, I've seen the ugly side of America.

In a prime-time debate against then-businessman, now-Gov. Glenn Youngkin, McAuliffe said, “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.” This crystalline statement of Democratic insouciance toward ordinary people’s interests detonated like a grenade. Youngkin could hardly have believed his ears or his luck. His campaign rolled the tape again and again in TV commercials, dooming the hapless blue candidate in a blue state.

I have another theory why Youngkin won. Unlike the 2000 campaign, Republicans in the last VA Governor's race had manned all precincts. That manning prevented the Dems from padding the votes in western VA counties. That is important because Fairfax County had 30,000 unsigned mail-in votes they could throw into the hopper. But since the Dems could not cheat at the precincts, Younkin was ahead by 85,000 votes and that Fairfax vote dump would have been useless. In 2000, both Trump and the VA Senate candidate were well ahead at midnight. It was wee-hours vote dumps the next morning that put them behind.

Biden's speech at Union Station seemed to be promising to deliver the mid-terms to 'save Democracy', but it might take a little while so be patient.

They need to be crushed and stop all the crazy shit. Unfortunately I think the left has went to far to correct.

California will vote blue no matter what. Democrats can be raping their kids in broad daylight, and theyll just excuse it as gender orientation and vote blue. thats what i think of the left. feel bad for sane people stuck tbere. on a bright note, bar is low as fuck, easy money.

.

Let's just see and watch the mail in ballots in close elections. If the Dems cheating machine is still active like in 2020, then I suspect all the close races will go predominantly to the Dems like Senate races for Nevada, Georgia, and Pennsylvania.

It will be interesting to see the percentage of mail in ballots for the close races like for Georgia, and compare it to the percentage of mail in ballots in the 2020 election.

With Kemp leading a lot over Abrams, it will be of interest to see how Herschl Walker fares. The libertarian candidates are a lot more similar to Repubs (i.e., same on taxes, regulations, guns, COVID lockdowns, anti-Woke religion, pro-oil and gas, etc.), so that is a major factor.

Also notice there are no Green candidates. That's because the Green Party essentially has been absorbed by the Dems.

Or threatened not to run a candidate. In North Carolina, the Dems actually went to court to keep the Greens off the ballot.
