In 2021 102,000 people died from drug overdose (poisoning) , 47,000 in car accidents, and only in gun-related homicides 21,000.

The media establishment (e.g. NPR) focuses only on the gun-related topics and not on the most accurate issues. This behavior shows that the corporate media are adversaries to the nation.

The striking growth of death from overdose is thanks to the prescription opioids. The Government and the established media know about it but the lobbying dollars are just so sweet.

An interesting perspective on gun violence and gun control:

Out of 193 countries, the United States is #3 in gun violence numbers.

However:

If you exclude the 5 U.S. cities with the most gun violence—-

St. Louis, Detroit, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Chicago—

all “blue” cities with very strict gun control laws —

Then the USA drops to number 189 in gun violence.

Which just goes to prove that before you can begin to solve a problem…..

…. you have to understand what the problem is.
