The Israel Aid bill is being put up tonight seperate from anything else.
This puts Biden in a position of angering Jewish Dem donors if he vetoes it (he will), or to anger his Dem base if he signs it.
They already gave about $50 billion each year for 2022 and 2023 to Ukraine.

It didn't pass anyway, so moot point. 14 Republicans joined the Dems in defeating it.
Or 100%?
A Ukraine Aid bill should be put up next.
Take away the Uniparty's excuse to bundle foreign aid with the Border by heading them off at the pass?
That way they can't scream "But foreign aid desperately needed for the conflicts, so pass this combined Amnesty-foreign aid-border bill".
More and more I'm thinking we need a Constitutional Amendment that forces the Congress to vote on individual spending bills by category (Defense, Mandated Spending, Infrastructure, Foreign Aid, etc). No omibuses, or require massive supermajorities for them, not mere majority, and also ban continuance bills, or only allow them at last budget spending up or down with no increases, not for inflation or anything else.
