Temporary Restraining Orders pending appeals? California doesn't even vet it's CCP imposed laws for constitutionality. They have to be skeet shot out of the chute and bumped to appeals and Ninth Circuit. The Ninth Circuit junkyard of California legislation gets bigger and bigger.

Black US citizens have to compete with illegals for public housing, so this move makes a lot of sense politically.

Trump to add $100,000 fee for skilled worker visa applicants

US President Donald Trump plans to sign an executive order that will add a $100,000 (£74,000) fee for applicants to the H-1B visa programme aimed at bringing in skilled workers from abroad into certain industries.

The proclamation will reportedly mention "abuse" of the programme and will restrict entry unless payment is made.

Believe it's per year if I read correctly. I could be wrong. Massively huge deal if so.

Not your fault if you are. The Proclamation issued for it makes your take is clear. Lutnick even said so at the press conference. But then later on both Leavitt & ICE both said only once. And only for new applicants starting Sept 21.

Ah, so much winning. I've waited 30 years for this shit.

Trump has been though hell and back, and he's a billionaire. I think, for the first time since Andrew Jackson, our country has a president that empathizes with the common man.

Unlike that bastard Clinton, who emptily professed "I feel your pain," Trump has been nearly killed once, out of three known assassination attempts, been criminally convicted multiple times through corrupt judiciary processes, and the victim of overwhelming NSA and CIA spying.

I'd say Trump understands now more fully than ever how the average American has been fucked over for the last 50 years. I'm guessing that Trump thinks "If they can do this to me, and I barely survived because of my billions, what about the tens of millions who have been railroaded because they didn't have the resources to fight back?"

I'm going to practice variants of this to any libtards I encounter from now on.

US Plans to Use Emergency Powers to Save More Coal Plants

The Trump administration plans to continue using emergency authority to stop coal-fired power plants from retiring.

“This administration’s policy is going to be to stop the closure of coal plants,” Energy Secretary Chris Wright said Wednesday during an event held by the New York Times. Shutting down coal-fired power plants “that are working today” would drive up electricity prices, and hinder efforts to reindustrialize the US economy, he said.

Gotta provide power to those escalators at the UN.

Well, based on past experience, I would say the "firings" will turn into paid vacations while the fired folk are re-hired later when the resolution passes, and given back pay.

Somebody remarked it's all but guaranteed the show had an episode where the antagonist was an analogue to Charlie Kirk.

Another claimed the Big Faboozle Mastermind was based on Charlie Kirk, who appeared as a reasonable debater type while he sent armies of Groinpat types out.

This time they will be actual firings. And yes I think Democrats are stupid enough to force a shutdown which will be followed by mass firings at government agencies.

Well. at least they get unemployment, unless the various states in which these people are unemployed has pilfered the unemployment insurance provided by the Federal Gub'ment. If the shutdown happens, then no emergency funds to states to shore up the unemployment $$ like what happened in 2020. States this time around will be fucked.

This should probably go into the predictions thread.

If a business can't make a budget they have layoffs, government should be no different. A lot of government jobs are just grifters and provide no real value to taxpayers.

LoL. They will have to spend all of their earnings here. However, we know that this is kind of empty, because they will be able to transfer through various black market methods. It might keep immigrants from coming here, though, if they don't think they can support their families back home with filthy American lucre.

It means they will have to seek jobs in private enterprise where they will have to work instead of being crypto Kommie deadweight sucking off the tax welfare tit by another name.

Fortunately for them, Trump's policies will be creating a lot of non governmental jobs.

One little thing. At least, let us respect her language. It is "bitchachA". (You all see the replacement of the a on the end instead of the o? It communicates male or female in that language. It helps them know who you are talking to).
