Looks like every bullshit PoMo High Fashion Woke crap we've seen for decades.

Part of me thinks it's a joke, and they're going to pull an April Fool's on Dec 2nd.

Is this for the car company???? I didn't see a car. The font is different than I recall. It does look like some sort of parody as AK mentions.

The only other thing is if there are gay tv channels and they advertise there? I don't watch TV so I don't know what they are, but could be direct target marketing and wouldn't be on ESPN and major networks. Also wouldn't ever watch gay content anyway, so who knows.

If they're targeting that market I kind of understand if it's real. Keep your stuff in your closet or channel and I don't care. I just don't want my kids to ever somehow see that BS. Hence why we control content as much as we can. Any new friends of the kids get a thorough background check. Their parents. Not a joke. Kids don't know, but I vet every kid they've hung out with. So far so good.

No gay parents unless we're there. We only know one lesbian couple. Either way this video is trash and if put on all stations sales will plummet. No one wants to be seen in a gay car. I'm still confused if this is the car company or a fag clothing line though.
3   zzyzzx   2024 Nov 22, 5:40am

It's real. The marketing director there is gay.
4   RC2006   2024 Nov 22, 6:03am

I haven't seen a jag driving on the road in a long time, every once and a while I'll see an old one. Do they even have much of a market anymore in the US?
5   RC2006   2024 Nov 22, 6:07am

Lol .05% of market with starting MSRP of 60k, clown level car sales.

Maybe this is good marketing since their sales are even less than the amount of gay people.
6   RWSGFY   2024 Nov 22, 9:40am

They stopped production not long ago. Probably not going to restart ever again.
7   Ceffer   2024 Nov 22, 10:18am

Another Baphomet tranny vomit rocket. What did Jaguar do to earn this corporate demolition wrath?

Guess Jaguar will be reduced to making Connolly leather S&M whips and outfits.
8   komputodo   2024 Nov 22, 11:01am

jags were beautiful cars but the cost of parts and maintenance was ridiculous.
9   MolotovCocktail   2024 Nov 22, 11:09am

It's European advertising. Looks like it.

All models produced by Jaguar Land Rover are supposed to be EV starting in 2025, I think.
10   Ceffer   2024 Nov 22, 11:11am

If you can't afford the butler and chauffeur to drive and maintain the bag of bolts, than you shouldn't have the car. That seems to be the British anthem for the traditional horrible reliability of their auto products. I guess the old Land Rover gas guzzler SUVs were somewhat better than sedans.

I remember a staff guy in New Orleans who bought one for status and had horrible experience with the air conditioning in it (New Orleans weather needs car air conditioning) and water leakage (also need a water tight car for tropical downpours). He suffered with that thing as a hair shirt because of the looks and chic.

Bullshit AI
12   RC2006   2024 Nov 22, 12:51pm

Jags are the only import that were so fucked up that it was common to swap its euro trash engine for a US V8 in the the 90s.

I heard a guy with a Jag who went through 3 sealant treatments before he went off-dealer and got it properly fixed.

I'd take her, obviously, but, her body proportions are all wrong. No woman with those thighs and tits can have a 20-inch waist. I call AI shenanigans.

It is blatant AI. No one has thumbs like that, either. Also, the boat is moving fast enough to have a wake and wave a flag, but her hair is like being in a room with no wind.

Way back in the day before AI, and when I used to watch TV, I'd constantly resist programming by saying things to myself like "Nose job," "Bolt ons," "Sliced and diced."

This was to prevent my brain from being programmed by fake "beauty" and appreciate natural women. The much maligned @Richwicks impressed me in this one respect - he refused to watch fiction, because he thought that it conditioned people to consider fake or psychopathic feigned emotions as legitimate.

Males need to be aware of the visual tools used to enslave them. Like @Wookieman says, live life IRL, shun the boob tube.

Sorry, but those waists are real. I think some lower ribs are surgically removed.

Extreme example is Alena Omovych:

Omovych's waist is not 20 inches - more like 22-24 inches. Besides that, she has bolt-ons, Look, I'm not saying it's possible, just that it's extremely imiprobable to be real as opposed to airbrush/AI.

I feel sorry for her. God knows what she did to herself, but she's not attractive.

She caught a lot of flak for that, yes. I think she had like seven surgeries total.

I guess, Jaguar brand was bought-over by successful conservative conglomerate TATA group in India.
But it sounded like it took a wrong path by its management in EU.
27   zzyzzx   2024 Nov 26, 5:15am

Apparently, they are courting the market for gay, overpriced, electric vehicles.

Bad strategy. Gays are likely some of the poorest people. If I have an inkling that you're gay I won't do business with you. I won't hate you, but I'm generally not doing business with you. Kind of the same with blacks. Blacks are lazy and gays are soft. I'm a trust guy and it takes a lot to get trust from me.
32   Ceffer   2024 Nov 27, 5:14pm

I hate to think how they have re-designed the tail pipes.

Last week, we watched American Eagle sell out of jeans after running ads featuring blonde, white Sydney Sweeney, which for some indecipherable reason triggered a tsunami of liberal virtue-signaling. But a quiet counterpoint story emerged around the same time. Car and Driver ran the article under the generous headline, “JLR CEO Adrian Mardell to Step Down Ahead of the Brand's Contentious Rebrand.” In other words, the CEO suddenly and unexpectedly quit. Rats and ships and so forth. ...

Jaguar’s “rebrand” was horrifying enough. Jaguar plans to “transition” its iconic luxury brand to a single, electric model, shown above in pink, which is the main color pushed in all the company’s promo pictures. But the new model isn’t even out yet. Instead, Jaguar’s problems are better compared to Bud Lite, except —if you can imagine it— even worse.

According to the New York Post, Jaguar sales in Europe flatlined— by an astonishing 98% drop. That’s not a typo. They only sold 49 cars in all of Europe in April, which compares unfavorably to the 2,000 sold last April, 2024.

The company’s woes are being blamed on its much-ballyhooed “re-brand.” This year, the ultra-luxury carmaker also “transitioned” to a new marketing campaign. If you thought Dylan Mulvaney was a bad idea, the Jaguar managers said, “hold your lite beer and watch this.” They green-lighted a series of ads featuring “colorful characters” and no cars. The ads are indescribably painful to watch. ...

Watching that ad feels like slowing down to inspect a highway collision. You can’t help it, even though what you are looking at keeps getting worse. What I’d most like to know is how much Jaguar paid for that ad campaign. I’m beginning to suspect I am in the wrong line of work. Whatever they paid, it was too much.

I guess Jaguar decided its new electric customer base is flamboyant transexxuals. This lesson in marketing self-destruction is remarkably similar to Bud Lite’s incomprehensible decision, since Jaguar’s classic market actually trends very conservative: people who value iconic, traditional, understated luxury brands with a cherished historical aesthetic. Think wood-trim dashboards, Connolly leather, and Le Mans racing victories.

Ironically, the campaign is titled, “Copy Nothing,” but the ad copies the most tired visual tropes of 2020s progressivism and features characters who are all the same —gender confused— but in different neon colors. Ironically, it’s not even individualistic. At best, the ads illustrate tribal conformity.

Exec responsible for Faguar rebranding finally out; took the board a year to can his ass.

Stockholders should can the board for taking so long.

Tata motors owns Jaguar. It's based in India. Jaguar claimed there was a cyber attack and to recover from it the UK government guaranteed a loan for $2 billion

Nobody is gonna be stupid enough to let them throw away any more coin.40k employees at Jaguar/Land Rover world wide. They're done.

Nah. This is what all politicized orgs do. Firing these woke fucks makes the board look bad because they hired the management who hired this guy.

So they wait until things calm down and then do this.
