It is incumbent to return our news outlets to these balanced perspectives.

I don’t think Biden’s testimony is needed.

We need it. Put it on payperview and AMERICA! will tune in to see a senile senior citizen embarrass himself.
He might not be aware where he is, leading to major blunders.

Hunter and Burisma need to be investigated. These kids are just a symptom of the corruptness of their parents. The same nepotism and cronyism goes on in our intelligence agencies as well. They think they have the right to pillage and plunder with no repercussions. Power corrupts.

Our system is corrupt from the Federal Reserve (not federal no reserves) to the incredibly wealthy politicians who claim to be our servants.

Drain the swamp.

I am all for institutionalizing Joe so he does not wander around wetting his pants and sniffing kids.

Barr doesn't arrest, he blobs and bloviates.

Democrats are in a no win situation. Pick Bernie and corporations and rich turn on you. Or turn on Bernie and his followers stay home and say fuck dems what's the point.
108011   HeadSet   2020 Jan 28, 2:46pm

You know, Bernie has to survive to be nominated. Wonder if any betting agency has already set up a dead pool.
108012   HeadSet   2020 Jan 28, 3:09pm

OK, I'll bite and be a 'tard. Why only 34 votes?

108014   Bd6r   2020 Jan 28, 3:17pm

If they hose Bernie, they will (a) lose election, and (b) splinter Democratic party. As a minimum, there will be a re-run of 1968 Chicago Democratic convention...
108015   Shaman   2020 Jan 28, 3:30pm

I believe that the Democrat field is too split to come up with a nominee in the first round at the DNC. Nobody will have the majority of delegates, and so it will go to a brokered convention where the infamous SUPERDELEGATES will enter the fray! All the elite Democrat establishment will weigh in, and they will put their heavy fingers on the scale.
Think they’ll vote for Bernie?
Haha hahahaha! No way!
Biden is also problematic for many many reasons. So they’ll toss it to their buddy Bloomberg who has more money than most African nations, owns about 25% of the mass media, and holds the appropriate policy beliefs and won’t overturn the Apple cart. This will be a GIANT “Fuck You” to the progressive/populist wing of the party who will absolutely take offense. Bernie will bow out yet again with a handsome settlement from the “winner” and retire to spend his last years giving lectures on the wonders of Communism.

And the best part: a fuck ton of progressive Democrats will boycott the election!

It’ll be the largest landslide for any candidate/party in a hundred years.

Great... Trump can appoint some new ones!
108017   Tenpoundbass   2020 Jan 28, 4:13pm

Hey Democrats. Sorry Trump fucked up your grand commie scheme to replace Americans with people who hate us.
You almost had it, you were this close!

Former White House national security adviser John Bolton pocketed $115,000 from Ukrainian steel oligarch Viktor Pinchuk’s foundation

I always wondered why Trump hired Bolton. Apparently he liked the cut of his grifter jib. Trump only hires the very best people.
108020   Onvacation   2020 Jan 28, 5:52pm

The Dems need a dark horse. Beyond the Bernie Boys, nobody's committing to a Democratic candidate. Many aren't committing to Trump either.

But who ya gonna vote for?
108021   Tenpoundbass   2020 Jan 28, 6:23pm

There's going to be a brokered convention. I don't think none of them are going to get a plural majority.
I don't see how the DNC would certify a candidate that won the last primary with the rest of the field still in tow, and everyone getting 15% to 20% of the vote.
We'll know more after the straw poll, but I don't think none of them makes it to the general election as the Democrat candidate.
108022   Tenpoundbass   2020 Jan 28, 7:14pm

Well what do we have here? This proves what I've been saying all along.

Not even worth popping corn until they interrogate Hillary about Ben ghazi.

Excellent job President Trump!
108026   HeadSet   2020 Jan 29, 8:24am

Ummmm...because it takes 2/3 vote in the Senate to remove him, that's why.

OK, I was thinking about the next step, the vote on witnesses. I wasn't thinking by "exonerate" HEYYOU meant the actual impeachment vote itself.

Maybe Trump finding this out is why Bolton was let go. Did not vet him well enough.

Cant wait to see CNN paint him as a great man, full of character and integrity.

While Bolton is a war monger, I find it hilarious and conservative blogs and conspiracy theorist are painting him as a pariah after his latest revelations.

We equally find it hilarious how Progs are elevating Bolton as their champion.

Bolton has been one of the Prog's most hated "neocon warmongers" of 20 years!

Lots of hypocrisy going around.

But nothing more hypocritical than watching the Democrats get all butch on confronting Russia when they have been week on Commies my entire life........including Obama and the Democrats refusing to provide Ukraine lethal aide when they needed it most.
108030   Ceffer   2020 Jan 29, 9:47am

"What $115,000?" "Oh, THAT $115,000. Wasn't that a down payment for a chapter in the book deal?"

Judging from the array of retards, grifters & thieves Trump has hired he has a very strange vetting process. Basically if you have only said nice things about him or at least nothing negative, you are hired. And yes, a campaign contribution greases the wheels.

Are these judges all going back to their countries of origin?

They still are. POTUS after Trump will most likely be a globohomo fluffer just like all the presidents before Trump (both parties).

Ya, I expect they will say some junk like "It's time to reverse the raycist immigration system changes enacted by the previous administration, and move towards a system designed with diversity and inclusion!"

Viktor Pinchuk

My recollection is that Pinchuk is an equal opportunity purchaser of US politicians. A few yrs before Trump was elected, Pinchuk paid off some Trump-linked foundation for Trump to appear in some Pinchuk-advertising video in Ukraine.

It's not. Its merely irrelevant unless he knows something we dont already know. We will probably find out, as he will probably testify.
108041   Ceffer   2020 Jan 29, 12:09pm

Bolton's credibility is already in the crapper because of this. Who is stupid enough to take a bribe for a piddling $115,000, when there are easy millions to pick up? What a Hershey Bar Whore.

Yes, and noone has been more consistent about this than Trump supporters.

I'm not sure how you'd expect Trump to personally vet every hire. It's not feasible.

At least half of all power players in washington are tainted, maybe more. Once Trump brings in these tainted people and sees they are part of the problem, he axes them. This is, like, what a good POTUS does. He should fire quickly and often, as has always been Trumps style.

Your critique of expected behavior sounds more like orange man bad than legit criticism.

Now you are a craftsman blaming your tools. . He has not been able to get along with outsiders such as Scaramucci, Tillerson etc. In fact if he cannot vet people correctly that many times, he does not deserve to be a leader. This administration has been a circus act with Trump dropping the balls and the Trumptards blaming the balls and not the handler.

The fact that you think you can make that determination through the willful misrepresentation of the fake news media shows lack of real world judgement.

Similarly, look at what has been thrown at Trump. The deep state manipulators are pulling every string possible. Slimeballs like Manafort represent the always available string to pull. Washington runs on blackmail, and the deep state has dirt on everyone. The resulting firings and turnover is to be expected.

Instead of allowing your perspective to be manipulated, look at empirical data. No new wars, old wars coming to an end, far better trade deals, fake news media system about to break, and a record booming economy. Trump is doing a fantastic job, best POTUS of my lifetime for sure

Trump hasn't spent his entire life in politics like everyone else. Of course he is going to have problem recruiting experienced folks to navigate the massive bureaucracy since he didn't have existing relationships sucking at the tit of DC government for decades.

Remember, very few people expected him to win in 2016 (including me - and probably Trump). So there were not alot of old hands willing to hitch their wagons to Trump's campaign to assist with the transition. I think Jeff Sessions was the only real Republican establishment guy teamed up with Trump during the campaign and first year in office.

Secondly, the Democrats (and some Republicans) put huge delays on Trump's appointments.

Even the hacks at Politifact have to call it "half true"
