I do. I was on the team the designed the 7500 in the picture as well as other PCR machines. Every fucking hospital in the country has a PCR machine. It's like the soda station at McDonalds as far as molecular biology labs go and not hard at all.

It's ridiculous we haven't been testing way more people. It's cheap, fast and super sensitive. Perhaps false positives but so what. Complete malpractice on the part of our government agencies who've been lying their asses off.

Their main argument for it (and I am not joking) is that the illegals need to drive to get to work. They also say that children of illegals need to be driven to school activities. The real reason though, is that licenses paired with automatic voter registration at DMV fills the voter rolls. The Dems are also trying to eliminate Voter ID, they are that blatant about it.

The best data we have is from the Diamond princess. There were 3711 people on board. 705 of them got sick, this being in confined spaces with other sick people. So this is about 19% (on average about 8% of the people come down with the flu per year in the general population). 6 of those that got sick died (at least 3 of those were over 80; I was unable to find the ages of the other 3). I am willing to bet the other 3 were also elderly and/or had other health problems as cruise passengers tend towards a more elderly population.

So, for the most part its effects seem similar to just another strain of the flu, but yes the media will hype it for all it's worth. You gotta print about something.

The mortality rate for healthy adults is 0.2%, so 'only' doubly lethal compared to the flu. It does seem to hit the elderly and sick much harder than the flu which in turn is more dangerous to kids. Seems to be more contagious than flu but it's not proven since many cases go undetected for both.

In the past 5 years I have taken my mortgage from $140K down to less than $25K I'll be paid off this year. Since I started slamming my Mortgage, the Insurance company has backed off and hasn't given me a substantial increase. They are nothing more than bully predators, they raise the insurance on those who they know can afford it least.
For about 4 years straight starting about a year after I moved in. They would send an inspector out, a bum really with no real credentials. Which a week later I would get a letter explaining why my Insurance was going up $500-$1K more a year. I would replace Electric boxes, ripped out window units and put in split ACs on my flatroof rooms in the back. It didn't mater they next year they would find a new reason. Finally after about 4 years of it, and about 5 years ago, they told me. No matter what they would always raise my insurance because I have more than 10% under flatroof.

They fucking know they'll never ever see another penny from me. If I had of had the money I have spent on Premiums since I have been here, sitting in the bank. Then when I got hit by Hurricane Irma I would have my roof fixed a week later. But because of the bureaucratic bullshit in dealing with the Insurance company, it took me over 1 1/2 years before my roof got replaced and all of the work was done. Which may have caused more damage, my roof was open with just the underlayment on it for over 6 months. That's not the insurance fault, but it's because the insurance company tried to lowball me and give me a check for $700 just to patch. The roofer company went to battle with the insurance company and fought to make them pay up for the full roof replacement which I needed. By then my roofer kept telling me, the white roof tiles I want are in high demand, and other reasons.
But had I been paying out of my own pocket and didn't feel beholden to the company that at least got the insurance company to do they right thing.
Then I could have fired the roofer for not being on the ball. I was in trades for much of my younger adult life, I know how they will blow off jobs, they think they can bullshit.

I would have had my roof done before the month was over had I paid out of pocket. I plan on dumping my insurance and will be glad to justify it to anyone. I'll just make sure I put in a comparable premium into a savings account for maintenance and upkeep. That way I'll fix what ever needs it without some bureaucratic body's permission.

Homeowners insurance is for Suckers. Especially if you own outright. But don't be stupid, you got to put that money away for when you need it.

Virginia is a Super Tuesday state, and has 99 of those delegates. Not sure if Bernie will clean up, as Bloomberg did some serious funding of many Congressional races in VA and Biden has support from ex-Hillary supporters, through ex-Governer McAuliffe and current Senator Tim Kaine. The Mayor of Norfolk, a Black man, has endorsed Bloomberg, so that may indicate where the Black vote may go. Klobuchar will not even bother to campaign in VA, sending her husband instead.
