"Proxmity to Whiteness" = stable family units, a high value placed on education and hard work, and no bitching and excuse making.
@RC2006 I do think you're on to something, though there has really been very little pushback so far by white people.
My guess is that Democrats/BLM are trying hard to encourage white nationalism, so they can finally have some "proof" of all of their allegations.
Some black people came up with the slogan 'Black lives matter, too.'
Really? I'm a part Jewish white guy too. I'm very far more afraid that Trump will win the election and continue to turn us into a shithole backwater oligarchy like Russia than I am of black people killing me. IMO, the chances of whites getting systematically killed are as close to zero as you can get. Meanwhile, Trump want's to turn our country into a shithole oligarchy, and he's made surprising progress. He's likely to get badly beaten in the upcoming election, and he'll whine about mail in votes, which will heavily favor Dems. So, I'm not too concerned, but most of the country is more concerned about Trump than BLM.

Like how? Who's our equivalents of Abramovich, Usmanov or Deripaska?
Eric Holder saysLike how? Who's our equivalents of Abramovich, Usmanov or Deripaska?
Bezos, Steyer, and Bloomberg.
Which ones of them are Trump's creations?
Last week, Americans were eight times more likely to get killed by COVID than were Europeans.
mell saysIt's the same virus for goodness sake.
Same virus. Different actions = different result.
South Korea and New Zealand also experienced the same virus, but had a different response and got a different result.
Trump lies. Americans die.
mell saysThat is a disqualifier right there. Data has clearly shown that there is no correlation between "measures" and infection rates. See Sweden, Netherlands etc.
I've read multiple stories stating that Sweden had higher death rates and a bigger economic decline than their Nordic neighbors. I don't know the latest, but last I read, their death toll was something like 5-8 times as high per person as other Nordic countries. That doesn't seem like a success story to me. We will soon pass them in deaths per capita, so they have that.

Strangely, nobody knows anyone who has died from it.
This is an unscientific anecdotal observation.
What we should really be asking is what did China do? Their deaths peaked at a few thousand months ago and have barely risen since then, in a nation of 1B people.
hahahahaha
Why would Trump even agree participate in this? He ought to have known that no matter what he said, Woodward would not paint it in a favorable light.
Thanks @mell
Can you point to an example comment?
You all know my policy on people who commit suicide. I don't think they are worthy of mourning, or sympathy, it's a cowardly act.
But damn this whole story makes me feel like a hypocrite.
