Funny, I always pictured you with a mullet...

I too picture him with a mullet, a wife-beater t-shirt, a handfull of viocdin and a six-pack of PBR, all in the pervading smell of propane, day old burritos and endless piles of slim-jim wrappers.

Not that there's anything wrong with that...

Obama's been talking to the GOP via media all weekend long, not just the 10 minute PR stunt Russia and TheIran are getting....
What's you point?

egads101 says

Over the weekend, Obama had phone conversations with the presidents of Russia, and Iran... But not with the leaders of the GOP.

Live up to the responsibilities of the office?

Um, they are elected officials doing the bidding of their constituents. Id say they're doing exactly what they were put into office to do, and that's save us from the ppaca nightmare

37853   anonymous   2013 Sep 30, 9:01am

No, they were put in office to repeal ppaca, you moron.

So? How is this a surprise? All the bankrupt cities were run by democrats, it only seems logical that the DNC should be in the same shape.

I wouldn't call the RNC a shining example of fiscal responsibility. The Republican "borrow and spend" is much less responsible than the Democrat "tax and spend." It's the Republicans who go on spending sprees (i.e. unnecessary wars) while cutting taxes for the top 0.1% of the population.

All bank examiners must be sacrificed in public and all bank regulations must be suspended in order for normal housing valuations to mature. Like, there is no reason why a house in San Bernadino should not cost at least as much as the GDP of Finland.

GDP of Finland? must be a teardown...

Half Of US Population Accounts For Only 2.9% Of Healthcare Spending

I can't believe such a headline would actually shock anyone. Are you surprised that only 2.9% of the population is hospitalized at any given moment?

37862   freak80   2013 Sep 30, 12:45pm

Congress and Obama will wait for stocks to go down another couple percent, then they will cover their short positions and announce an agreement.

Never attribute to stupidity that which is adequately explained by malice.

37863   freak80   2013 Sep 30, 12:49pm

They're giving red-meat to the dogs. That's politics.

Remember we've got a whole army of mind-numbed Foxbots and Rushbots doing whatever their master(s) tell them to do.

Foxbots/Rushbots will do what they're told to do: vote Republican.

Those shitbags were going to anyway, regardless whatever Fox or the drug addict said. The die-hard 30% of republican voters won't ever get past the skin tone of Obama, and are just as radical and dangerous as when they win.

Ther's no cure for it, and ironically those kind of morons are so radical that even their own kids vote the opposite of them.

They're their own worst and biggest enemy.

What??? Is hospitalization the only place medical costs are incurred??

There you go again...

Missing the *whole point* of an argument by obsessing over details.

Of course hospitalization isn't the *only* source of high medical costs.

I was simply pointing out the following: it's pretty obvious that only a small fraction of the population will be in need of expensive medical care at any given moment. I used hospitalization as an obvious example.

You seem to have misread the statistic. It doesn't say how much 3% of the population spend, but coincidentally, hospitals and nursing homes do account for 50% of the spending.

37867   carrieon   2013 Sep 30, 1:37pm

The whole population already knows health insurance and obamacare isn't worth a shit. That's why the healthcare industry created the mandatory tax. It's to keep their gravy train running.

If something like this happened at my job, I'd be fired, and rightfully so.

We need to clean house of the shit that corrupts our government and the shit in the government that accepts it.

Are restaurant convection ovens big enough to fit an entire bankster or Realtor® or will they have to be cut up and tossed into sautee pans in chunks?

The important thing is not to use the microwave. It just doesn't do the meal justice.

No kidding. I've seen plenty of it, some average bureaucrat making his 80,000 a year... while driving a $100,000 car and lives in a 5,000,000 house. It's obvious that kind of lifestyle isn't matching the salary or the job.

37879   EInvestor   2013 Oct 1, 2:26am

Goal is to reduce national debt and not spend like a drunken sailor as if there is no tomorrow. Public employee wages and benefits are bankrupting USA and MUST be cut by 5-10% every year for next five years.

37880   MisdemeanorRebel   2013 Oct 1, 2:28am

That's insane. If you do that, you'll destroy thousands of businesses that depend on Public Employees' patronage.

Team America World Police is bankrupting America, with half the world's military spending. Military spending is utterly discretionary.

How does one party that has lost two presidential elections and a Supreme Court case – as well as two Senate elections - think it has the right to shut down the entire government and destroy the full faith and credit of the United States Treasury to get its way on universal healthcare now?

They believe that their opponents are not legitimately qualified to govern, and therefore any measures against said opponents are justified. So they impeached Clinton and will destroy our system of government to stop Obama.

In the eyes of all Republicans, a Democratic president is illegitimate.

By the way, they've lost 5 of the last 6 presidential elections in the popular vote. They don't care, because the Republican Party is the only party fit to govern.

They put party before country.

Who's their hosting company Network Solutions?

Probably due to all of that wonderful MVC/Entity framework cluster fuck bullshit, that every half a moron that is CIO thinks every project going forward has to be developed in.

Sure there's a lot of great shit in the .Net assemblies, but it's much better to roll your own. Just because there's a three ton library in .Net one could use, to do the lifting of a 10 ounce object, why would you?

It's much better to have your own domain generic objects, and data access layers, that aren't overly encapsulated with other dependencies and partial classes, and interfaces. Sure that shit looks slick and cute on a small scale but where you got millions of people hitting your site. "What's not so great about the latest and greatest mop and bucket technologies" will bite in your fucking ass.

Oh they will still miss their paychecks..............the greed runs wild. I thought actually having wealth was a prerequisite to winning an election (campaign finance is a joke). 300 million people in the US and these are the best and brightest we could put in office?

Here's a novel idea....how about electing someone who acutally has a proven track record of accomplishments (Allan Mullaly quickly comes to mind).

They need to learn to suck bankster cock even harder, like their getaway drivers Obama and Paulson. Get down on the knob and really gag on it, hard and loud and splattery. Then all the money will come sliding in. How about offering to throw all bank examiners out of an airplane and disband the SEC? That should get some attention. To top that, the GOP would have to offer to shoot senior citizens and pull the gold out of their teeth and mail it to their sponsoring oligarchs.

When will your Porn & Violence movie open? Could I cum to the early release. LMAO
