I believe OBama had intentions, maybe call them naive. Trump is a con artist and knows it. So he's much quicker to let the promises go. He'll work the PR angle hard (with the right wing media) regarding changes to OBamaCare and "securing the border." While in reality, he will just be continuing the work Obama was doing on both of these issues.

Obama was basically fairly conservative but dressed up as a liberal. Hopefully, Trump will be the opposite. It's funny if you think about it.
