Taco Bell founder dead at 86

RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif. – Glen W. Bell Jr., an entrepreneur best known

as the founder of the Taco Bell chain, has died. He was 86.

Bell died Sunday at his home in Rancho Santa Fe, according to a

statement posted Monday on the Taco Bell Web site.

***RIP

Good lard, this news really chaps my chalupa.

For pitas sake, he had a seasoned career but now he's tostada. At least that's what I've read

in the peppers but I can't understand why some folks don't care beans about him. Lettuce pray for his family and not throw tomatoes because, let's face it,  he was quite beefy and saucy and sometimes cheesy yet he was every enchirito a gentleman who could melt your heart.

Wherever he went, he never got a chili reception. He was a gas. He had drive thru and thru.

This trait borders on true originality. He was nacho typical owner and not all wrapped up in himself, even drove a Pinto to save gas. Bean there, done that.

This was no fry by night operation and it certainly was not a mis-steak to launch since it got him the grill of his dreams, a real hot and spicy tamale who lit his flame.

This may sound like corn but do we send flours?

Not sure, but I hear Jerry Lewis is going to sing the tribute "You'll never guac alone."
