Nicolas Cage 'purchases pyramid tomb'

Friday, April 16 2010, 11:30am EDT

By Mike Moody, Entertainment Reporter

Nicolas Cage has reportedly purchased a 9-foot tall pyramid-shaped

structure built in a New Orleans cemetery.

According to TMZ, the National Treasure star bought the pyramid with

the expectation that it will be his final resting place.

It is unclear how much Cage paid for the tomb or why he intends to use

it as his gravesite.

The 46-year-old was recently ordered to pay East West Bank more than

$2m (£1.29m). He also sold two historic New Orleans homes in a

foreclosure auction because of his financial woes.

***He must be in denial with this scheme cause his banks are saying

"Egypt-ed us."

This situation spinx to high heaven. What's he gonna be dune now?

Walk a mile for a camel?

Will he run to mummy? I think its tomb late for that now. Maybe he should get

his ash to Phoenix to raise Arizona?

Good point, Mikey. I'm sure that he felt caged and wanted to spend his afterlife in Luxory. Maybe he triangulated off his favorite places and chose N.O. as the last place he wants to be. Heaven only knows why. Hell if I know.
