Yet his Approval numbers match Obama at the same time in their Presidencies. Imagine what it would be if he got the same equal, fair coverage?

The media’s coverage of President Trump has been overwhelmingly negative, more than three times more critical than the initial coverage of former President Barack Obama and twice that of former Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton.

The Pew Research Center said that the early coverage of Trump was 62 percent negative. By comparison, Obama’s coverage was just 20 percent negative.

“About six-in-ten stories on Trump’s early days in office had a negative assessment, about three times more than in early coverage for Obama and roughly twice that of Bush and Clinton. Coverage of Trump’s early time in office moved further away from a focus on the policy agenda and more toward character and leadership,” said Pew.

The media story reviewed the tone of coverage of Trump’s first 60 days in office and found that just 5 percent was “positive.”

Trump is easily the best president of our lifetime. For the record, I thought he was a complete joke for the first 3 months of his campaign...until the MSM started calling him a nazi. That was when I dove in and started researching every propagandized article about him. Now I'm on board the Trump train. Trump the medicine our sick country needs

In other words you're just like TPB, Two scoops and Patrick. "The good thing is how much the liberals hate him. Even if the liberals are correct to hate him and even if he destroys democracy as we know it, it will have been worth it to see those fucking liberals suffer."

It's definitely a sign of the times, that the guy I (and about 190 million other American) think is so obviously the worst President in my lifetime (BY FAR !), you think is the best. (gee I wonder why you like him so much? No I'm not thinking of racism- although I'm sure that didn't hurt him in your book).

Destroying democracy starts by a party losing the election and then getting all Samson in the Philistine's Temple about it. Insinuating he's a Russian Stooge, that he's mentally ill, an abuser of women, that the election itself was hacked, a Nazi Plot, etc. etc.
23   marcus   2017 Dec 29, 2:17pm

No, it starts when an investigation into extreme corruption (we're not talking a bj from an intern) is not allowed to be completed, Or when the media is constantly questioned and called fake news, in many cases because of true reports on reality. Or when a head of the FBI is fired why ? Or when the President openly admires ruthless and murderous dictators. How can his multiple lies on a daily basis not give you pause ? You actually must admire his pathological lying.

Worst of all. Face it, Trump does not value the press as the 4th Estate, as a check against his power. He envies Putin who can have members of the press killed for for what they say.

We still are a democracy, but Trump is trying as hard as he can to undermine it.

I agree, we need a special counsel to investigate Uranium One.

Like announcing they've got a bombshell, but getting the dates wrong on an email, then refusing to name the erroneous or malign sources that spread the fake news? Or citing "People familiar with the story" as Sources? How about maintaining that a woman coughing up a lung every 5 minutes was healthy based on a couple of paragraphs from her personal physician, when days later she topples over into a waiting car and is whisked to an apartment for private treatment?

Have you been following the Inspector General's revelations that Comey's crew was outrageously biased in the Clinton Email investigation, yet he allowed them to continue leading it? Or that many of them went on to investigate Trump?

How can you see the media daily getting busted, bias in the FBI top investigators proven bias with 10,000 texts and emails railing on Trump, rooting for Hillary, and even their own wives given six figure cash to run for office by the Top Clinton Ally, McAuliffe, while they're supposed to be investigating Clinton?

How about the FBI report on the Bill Clinton-Lynch meeting more worried about how the story leaked than any impropriety of the Attorney General meeting with the Suspect's Husband in a secret meeting?

Everything on Trump is speculation. Everything on Clinton, Podesta, Wasserman-Schultz, McCabe, Stronzky (sp?) etc. has actual factual meat to it.

Trump is more like the hero we deserve, rather than the hero we want.

EXACTLY.

So many envisioned some kind of FDR figure riding in on a horse, with his sober, serious Atlanticist voice calming everybody as he gave a fireside chat from the White House. His reason and delivery carrying the day. (Nevermind the real FDR was a great behind the scenes politician, and a log-roller and a dissembler when necessary)

We got a big mouth billionaire who has almost certainly been planning this for 30 years, knows how to trigger his opponents to states of lunacy and live rent-free in their heads, wade through months of "Oh no you don't" "Crazy" "Not gonna happen", before getting it passed.

Although, both were wealthy New Yorkers.

Except the Republicans won the election.

So the party that is insinuating all those things is the winning party.

Many make the argument that the press was overly kind to Trump, during the campaign - giving his antics so much attention, allowing him to be elected, and then the press has been overly kind to him since he became President too.

Really?? "overly kind"?????

Even with the leaked emails, showing journalists invited to special parties, individual MSM "journos" fed tasty tidbits by the campaign, the non-stop Trump Bashing, and the now statistically proven negativity from one of the few genuinely unbiased think tanks, Pew, we still hear the "MSM too nice to Trump" nonsense.

Oh, and don't forget the "He's toast, mathematically impossible!" 24-7 assault of pundits in all MSM, print, cable, network, that lasted for weeks right up until the evening of the election.

And pimping the faked Trump dossier... which turned out to be funded by the Democratic Candidate and then knowingly used by the Democratic President to get a FISA warrant to spy on the Opposition Candidate after their first attempt at a FISA wiretap was rejected... man every few seconds I think of another.

Months of wiretaps and surveillance on Trump and Mueller has yet to indict anybody? He ain't got nuthin' on Trump.

From what history and true facts have played out, usually weeks or months afterward, Trump is proven right about 95% of the time. When he first tweets or makes a public statement there’s inevitably gasps and protests, talk of his senility, derangement, and impending impeachment due to the 26th Ammendment. Then time passes and he’s proven 100% correct on the subject.
Rinse.
Repeat.

What's the problem?

During the 2016 election cycle, the MSM gave white supremacists, specifically the KKK, more press coverage per member than the dallas cowboys as a strategy to smear Trump. 100% proof of MSM propaganda.

If you know it’s such a simple exercise, then you already know that we are right, and Trump has been mistreated by the media a hugely disproportionate amount! I’ll give you a new example from the National Review, a very conservative magazine.

OK, for the WIN!!

Here's FOUR.

News Media Gone Wild: These 4 Examples Show Trump-Trashing Is Their Favorite Hobby
Four topics took up more than half the time spent on the ABC, CBS and NBC evening news coverage of the president.

* The Russian "collusion" allegations, got some 415 minutes of coverage, 94 percent of it negative.
* The battle over Obamacare repeal took up 176 minutes and was 97 percent negative.
* The feud with North Korea landed 136 minutes of coverage with 86 percent of it negative.
* President Trump's response to the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia. It received 97 minutes of coverage, 97 percent of it negative.

Noyes stated, "Analyzing the networks' spin makes it clear that the goal of all this heavy coverage is not to promote the president, but to punish him."

Hey--someone at least stepped up and provided some real examples. Kudos.

Now-I do have a bit of a question with the source as it's mission is "exposing and combating liberal media bias" There may be a bit of a bias there. They list their methodology but don't have the raw data/soundbites anywhere to dig in (or course) so it's impossible to really judge their findings.

But hey--at least you stepped up to the plate.

So you can't, in any way, suggest I'm wrong.

The MSM and left are the ones who suggested Trump and a wave of white nationalism were somehow linked. Do you disagree w this sentiment?

Look in the Wikileaks wherein DNC and HRC put out these exact white national talking points to their media shills. Then go cross reference to Google trends data showing more articles per KKK member than the Dallas cowboys. These are facts you can not deny.

Of course you're wrong. I thought it went without saying that you were wrong.

There are way more articles on the Dallas Cowboys. I figured you were being sarcastic.

(fyi--there at least 100X more KKK members than members of the Dallas Cowboys so you'd have to show 100X more articles on the KKK)
60   CBOEtrader   2018 Jan 1, 11:14am

According to Wikipedia, there are about 5000 employees of the Dallas Cowboys compared to KKK's 3000 - 8000 members. The ratio is close to 1:1. Obviously the Dallas Cowboys are a FAR more highly capitalized organization, with professional marketers, etc... So even a 1:1 ratio is quite misleading. The KKK is quantifiably irrelevant. (For example some estimates suggest the irrelevant Church of Satan has more members.) There should NEVER be a period of time where there are more KKK articles than Dallas Cowboys articles, unless ofc you are the MSM trying to propagandize the soft minded masses.

Around the 2016 POTUS election, from Nov 7th to Nov 9th Google NEWS (articles from actual publications) hits for "KKK" is 11,100 as compared to "Dallas Cowboys" 8,940.

HappyGilmore says
Of course you're wrong

I accept your apology for being wrong.
