That's the way the MSM has been leaning, but they haven't been correct yet on the whole Russian Collusion theme so far, so it could just be a smoke screen. From what I'm reading, if it is Manafort, it will be for financial issues WAY before he was part of the Trump campaign, which wouldn't make sense, if Mueller was ONLY investigating Russia and election issues in 2016.

Nope, not in the slightest. There is a fair bit of evidence in the public realm and likely much more than hasn't been made public yet.

I've yet to see any evidence of Clinton's collusion, but I'm definitely open to believing it. Please link to whatever evidence I'm missing, but I hope it's not an anonymous source claiming something. McGee has already made clear that all anonymous sources are lying and cannot be trusted.

Looks like MSM is cranking out election meddling involving Trump campaign. Then again, they can simply rehash what they've already been tracking, with the added "news" being a leak of a sealed indictment.

This does read like a momentum recapture attempt in light of the shifting narrative towards the DNC and HRC (and even Mueller himself). That story is enormous and implicates the entire Obama admin and a bunch of Republicans as corrupt and treasonous. A catastrophic failure of government function, national security, and law & order took place there and Russia was a major player. The timing of this indictment is absolutely ridiculous and makes Mueller look that much worse.

It's time for Sessions to shut this farce down and refocus it on the real issues and the real players. The goddamn FBI has been in possession for over a year now of enough evidence to lock HRC up. This is becoming worse than what they had feared by avoiding doing their jobs before the election. The longer they drag this out, the more divided the country becomes, and the more its adversaries lick their chops.

No one should expect anything positive to come out of this for Trump. Mueller's team is filled with Clinton supporters and even Clinton Foundation donors. This investigation is one big legal defense super team assembled to cover up the Obama admin high crimes using all possible resources available to them.

Ok I admit it. I voted twice. 1 serious 1 joke vote. The joke vote was for Debbie. The serious vote for Flynn. This was from quick research that there were two grand juries and seemed like Manafort was not at the Grand jury that indicted. The research lasted all of 3 minutes and probably was flawed.

Tasking Robert Mueller to clean up the Russian collusion corruption problem is like asking Don Corleone to clean up the mafia problem.

So far he’s after someone for tax evasion.
The theory goes that he’s trying to get one of the indicted to flip and reveal collusion secrets about the Trump campaign for a plea deal, but since that entire story is a fabrication, it won’t work. Even if Manafort makes up a story, it won’t have the evidence behind it necessary to indict someone else.

I predict Mueller sits Manafort down and gives hi an ultimatum: confess to conspiring with the Russians to get Trump elected (in some illegal fashion) or we will throw the book at you and make sure you spend the rest of your life in the Federal Penitentiary.

That way, even if Manafort just lies to get out of jail and says he colluded in a “confession” that can never be corroborated by evidence, the Democrats get a token win and the grounds to assert Trump is a product of Russian collusion.

People will believe whichever side they want to believe, and the winners of the next election will rewrite history to reflect the “truth” they desire.
