The "victim" said she didn't mind at all, because that was the way the husband liked to have sex, anyway.
Doesn't this look staged and fake? I mean, those photos look a little too professional to have been made in the heat of the moment (I skipped the video).
Then there is this:
"A police spokesman declined to comment, saying they had not received any complaint from any of those involved."
Looks like street theater to me.
Ah I remember when this country was a little more conservative.
Now there are Adulterous award ceremonies to celebrate the best infidelities.
"And this year's Infie award goes to..."
Order pizzas for the whole audience it'll be a riot!
Do you see tears? I don't see tears.
In some pictures her arm is in a funny angle.
False flag mistress attacks are the wave of the future for public exhibitionism.
Maybe Rin's Montreal ladies will start attacking and ripping each other's clothes off in public over him.
Chinese 'mistress' is stripped naked and beaten senseless in backlash against
Shouldn't they be doing this to the husband for cheating? It seems it's OK for the guy to be unfaithful, but not the woman.
By the way, I like her ass.
Mistress shaming should be a spectator sport, with everything ending with a lesbian five way.
Wait, it already is with Jerry Springer and Maury Povich. Only it ends with everybody hitting each other with chairs.
Women beating up other women. I think recently the Chinese gubmnt changed the rule that women divorcing men won't get the house. men can keep the house. I guess so it is back to women wanting to be the wife again. If they can't divorce him , take all his assets and live with their younger boyfriends, then they have to fight for him now!
f they can't divorce him , take all his assets and live with their younger boyfriends, then they have to fight for him now!
Remember Dragon Lady slapping the guy who threw the pie in Murdoch's face? They ain't fucking around, ain't nobody better not fuck with their buckwheat. I like that. Sorta like my wife, if I even entertained hitting on something else, when I was gigging regularly, she would materialize out of the mist. Otherwise I couldn't pay her to come out.
This is all about distracting people from the protest in Hong Kong.

In Europe it was common up to the end of the second world war to shave the heads and humiliate any women accused of "collaborating" (bo!nking) an enemy soldier.

That's if they were lucky. The unlucky ones were beaten to death by angry mobs.

What I read was that whoever paid for the house gets to keep it, most commonly the man's parents. It is possibble that the law applies only when a third party paid for the house.
Seriously, this may be the smartest thing the Chinese government has done in a while.
It should also have the effect of reducing demand for bubble-prized housing in China.
Obligatory: If you like your house, you can keep your house.

Our system tries to be so fair to women that it overshoots and ends up being very unfair to the male.

I beginning to feel sorry for you.
Seeing the pictures of the wife and her friends, I can understand why the dude cheated.
And for 38 years old, the chick taking the beat down looks pretty damn hot. I'd tap it. An I'm not even as dude with yellow fever.
Tappy tappy tap tap.

Considering that they already did that, a.k.a, private dance at VIP lounge or one's hotel room, there's no need to get the Mounties involved in a public display :-)
A reference on the modification to Chinese divorce law, in an article from Oct 2011:
The article includes some very biased commentary such as
-----
"I think it is very obvious that the new law favours the richest person in any marriage," said Li Chunyan, the head lawyer at lihun.net, China's biggest divorce website.
That is nearly always the man, because Chinese women earn on average just two-thirds of mens salaries, according to a 2008 study by Beijing's Renmin University.
-----
Well, duh, the man is of course the richest person in any marriage, because otherwise the woman would not have been marrying him in the first place. And he has to earn 50% more (and work 50% harder) than the women in order to be considered marriageable. This is the same principle at work in China as right here in the US. Nothing new about that.
The aforementioned law should be enacted also in the US. How about putting it on the ballot in California?
In response to the new divorce law, some Chinese women demand their name on the property deed before agreeing to marriage:
http://www.china.org.cn/china/2011-08/18/content_23234995.htm
Unsurprisingly, this sounds just like the US: Matrimony is all about the Matri and the Mon(e)y she stands to gain from the marriage, whether it leads to divorce or not.
Marriage stopped working the day the laws changed so that the wife inherited the husband rather than the eldest son inheriting the father directly. When was that, in the 1800s sometime?
Having the eldest son inheriting the father directly gave both husband and wife a strong incentive to make the marriage work, and by the way is the origin of the concept of a "legitimate child", meaning a child born within the confines of marriage and therefore having a legitimate claim on an inheritance, whereas bastard children would not have any such claim.
If the marriage produced no son, the inheritance would pass to the nearest male offspring on the husbands side, but never anyone on the wife's side. Good system.
A mob, by definition, is angry.
That's if they were lucky. The unlucky ones were beaten to death by angry mobs.

Not necessarily:
noun
1. a disorderly or riotous crowd of people.
2. a crowd bent on or engaged in lawless violence.
3. any group or collection of persons or things.
4. the common people; the masses; populace or multitude.
5. a criminal gang, especially one involved in drug trafficking, extortion, etc.
It is only the latest in a number of similar incidents in which it seems there is placid acceptance in Chinese society of such humiliation, as long as the victim is seen as deserving in having caused a man to cheat on his partner.
That's red state mentality. It's exactly what the Christian right thinks. Despicable hypocrisy.
Too bad the victim isn't a relative of a high-ranking Communist Party member. The attackers deserve life in prison.
A mob, by definition, is angry.
No you're thinking about an 'Ungry Mob.
They'll go burning and looting tonight.
Wow, I post some fairly pointed remarks on the state of marriage law in US and China, and all I get is a couple of Dislikes? I must have been posting too early in the morning.

Update: 4 dislikes, I must be onto something.
and all I get is a couple of Dislikes
On Patnet there's no such thing as bad publicity.
I'm as equally satisfied with dislikes as I am with Likes, people took the time to acknowledge the post either way.

The point was that I would like to stimulate a discussion of marriage law, and failed. I don't mind the dislikes.

There's too much Law and not enough Jesus in Marriage.
There happy now?

Well, that is a double-edged sword. in my social circle there are several women of the "a good man should marry me because Jesus says so" types. And that is probably not what you meant by "not enough Jesus in Marriage".
I mean, these not-so-young chicks who had all kinds of serious marriage opportunities at younger age age are now talking about how Jesus says that men should court them and woo them in traditional fashion, although if you had asked them for a date 15 years ago they would have turned you down in seconds flat.
Yeah and Wemminz also make you drill a hole in the wall hang something heavy while they get the level, that they don't know how to use. Ask you to move it over, up or down a few inches. SO you take it back down redrill the hole, and then rehang it. Just to have them say they want it on another wall.
Then now you've got two freaking holes in the wall, that they'll ride you relentlessly over. Until you go to home depot to get wall repair materials.
You go back home, and repair the wall. Just so they can point out what a crappy job you did at patching the wall for the rest of your lives.
Yeah... Fun times, fun times!
That never happened to me. Whenever a woman has had me drill a hole, it would be a cold day in hell before she asked me to go drill a different one.

You've never been married, or played handyman for girl you were courting have you?
It warms my heart to see this.
As with so many other issues: deregulation, financial innovation and not letting stupid tree huggers dictate terms to businessmen, China is a model for America.

Turn her over.
