Deregulate business (especially wall street/banking)
Cut government (except to enforce morals/Christian values)

According to Reuters, Bush is leaning on Glenn Hubbard and Kevin Warsh. Hubbard was a paid witness for Countrywide — years after the abuses of subprime lending had become common knowledge, and Warsh was calling for fiscal austerity in2010, even though the economy remained deeply depressed; saying the responsible thing was just to accept 10 percent unemployment.
