It's called viewing a different angle. You can't see the open space because you're looking almost directly horizontally at it, rather than from above.
There are ways of counting.
Not accurate ones. It's still always only a guestimate.
"The left is throwing a fit"??
That's hilarious. It wasn't "the left" that devoted an entire news conference to disputing the numbers that were put out. It wasn't the left that went on all the Sunday morning shows to continue the nonsense and coin a new term "alternative facts".
Try looking in a mirror.
If Trump is getting so much credit for the recent small stock gains, I'm assuming you must be a HUGE Obama fan. Look at the S&P under his 8 years.
Trump only needs a brick for every 5 lies he tells and the wall will be done by Easter.
happened in Bush's last 2 budgets.
16 years later, it's ALL BUSH'S FAULT!!!!
Bush left office 16 years ago? You learn something new every day on patnet.
Math wasn't your strongest subject was it?
Nothing special going on here.
The market only goes up,like real estate.
It's Happy Days from now on.
PROOF?
No market or economy has ever seen any negative figures much
less experienced a collapse.
No one has ever lost a dime, because they are brilliant investors but they don't have to be
because they can't ever lose.
Loss could never happen.
The tech bubble never happened. 2008 recession never happened.
The 1929 Depression never happened. Anyone saying anything different is spreading FAKE NEWS.
All investors know this.
A third of Californians support Calexit and withdrawing from the union. The other two thirds are American citizens.
Wow, I never thought ANYBODY remembered Brian Auger and Oblivion Express. That's my favorite band name. Have 6 LPs.
"Bumpin' on Sunset" is another good one.
Are you kidding? All this would be recreated in an instant by the bureaucrats in Sacramento. With new found depth in zeal and assholeness.
If we're being even remotely serious, then we need to examine what happened the last time states tried to secede. If California was able to fight off the feds and win our states independence, I don't think any fed cronies would be left in Sactown. And if any were stupid enough to stick around, they would quickly find that the type of people capable of fighting for freedom also love defenestration.
Now we have a servant of the people.
I see only a servant of his own ego, trying to play a game he knows nothing about.
Our allies are distancing themselves. Russia and China are delighted to fill that void. Watch for stories on country relationships to come in the next months. It's about to get ugly. "America first" is the position of a toddler with no patience, sense of community, or manners.
Trump only needs a brick for every 5 lies he tells and the wall will be done by Easter.
I just gave you a standing ovation, in the rain, but magically the clouds parted to bless us both. I think 1.5 million people saw it.
defenestration
That is a great word.
I don't where you get the idea that the current denizens of Sactown have any inclination of releasing their parasitic grip?

Clearly the Nations' premier Electronic privacy and consumer rights organization has massive problems just one section of the TPP.
BOOM!
Continually increasing numbers under trump.
Can he grow the market as fast as he's growing the Natl.Debt?

It happens to be the same guesstimate used at all recent inaugurations ... along with subway ridership and other ancillary measures ... we know turnout wasn't bigly.
Meanwhile, park services twitter accounts (now two of them) have had tweets scrubbed off them for climate science facts and crowd size facts.
As Teddy Roosevelt said:
"Free speech, exercised both individually and through a free press, is a necessity in any country where the people are free." 5/7/1918
I don't where you get the idea that the current denizens of Sactown have any inclination of releasing their parasitic grip?
They definitely do not. But it stands to reason that if California has enough freedom minded citizens to win state independence, they have more than enough to throw a few parasites off the capitol dome.
How can trump stop communism
when no one knows how many Republicans
are sucking the big govt. SOCIALIST teat or using the tax payer
supported infrastructure?
Which THEY DIDN'T BUILD!
Bush left office 16 years ago? You learn something new every day on patnet.
Did I say Bush left office 16 years ago? By my recollection the blame began on day one...

Bush wrote a budget that expanded the size of the federal government on day one? I never knew that. Learning more and more on this thread. Any idea why he did not use it until year 7?
they have more than enough to throw a few parasites off the capitol dome.
Save some of that defenestration for me Clark

Good question the Rs are as bad as the Ds
Secession is a state's right.
LOL
You do realize that the states created the Federal government? Not the other way around.
States have the right to nullify the Fed policies as with marijuana usage.
If the states have these rights by extension they would have to have the right to secede as the framers intended.
"Yep, it only took another printing of $4 TRILLION of fake money and another $10 TRILLION tacked on to the debt to get there! WINNING!!!"
That will look like a HUGE bargain in 4 years.
Yep, it only took another printing of $4 TRILLION of fake money and another $10 TRILLION tacked on to the debt to get there!
This can't be true!
No Republican or Democrat would ever allow this!
Let's get serious.
BOYCOTT ALL Republicans & ALL DEMOCRATS,NOW.
I encourage you all to look at what the Dow has done since Nov 8th. I had to look twice because I couldn't believe it surged that high.
Now doesn't history show that when these big milestones are reached, they continue higher in the short term?
"Sure thing Tatty, let's look at the DOW the last 2 YEARS under Obama:"
Cherry pick much? If you're going to grade Obama, look at his entire time in office. Looks like ~300% gain to me. Not too shabby.
"I just did, two years after he had 6 previous Years to fix things, and the market has gone nowhere, and this is AFTER injecting $4 TRILLION of printed money and another $10 Trillion in debt and doubling the Debt to GDP ratio. After the QE money flow got turned off, growth stopped. Still want to give him a blow job?
Uh, no. But I will give him credit for a great bull run in stocks.
It might explain why Trumpligula is so fond of suing everybody, ADA and all.
Ecotopia, bring it on!
..."a 1970s cult novel, originally self-published by its author, Ernest Callenbach, that has seeped into the American groundwater without becoming well known...
The novel, now being rediscovered, speaks to our ecological present: in the flush of a financial crisis, the Pacific Northwest secedes from the United States, and its citizens establish a sustainable economy, a cross between Scandinavian socialism and Northern California back-to-the-landism, with the custom — years before the environmental writer Michael Pollan began his campaign — to eat local.
White bicycles sit in public places, to be borrowed at will. A creek runs down Market Street in San Francisco. Strange receptacles called “recycle bins†sit on trains, along with “hanging ferns and small plants.†A female president, more Hillary Clinton than Sarah Palin, rules this nation, from Northern California up through Oregon and Washington...."
It is NOT possible to do worse than Brown.
Gayin Newsom is very, very talented in this regard.
You do realize that the states created the Federal government? Not the other way around.
Duh. I also realize that it's not up to ONE state to change the borders of the USA. We have a Constitution and legal procedure for such changes. Want to secede - jump through legal hoops. Want to change the procedure - jump through legal hoops. Don't want to do either - try to win a civil war (good luck with that).
I've always been in favor of secession. No more IRS, DEA, FBI, or any of the other three letter asshole agencies. No more federal funding to support our massive welfare state(goodbye welfare babies). No more federal schools, no more standardized testing.
We have wine, weed, tons of farmland, craft beer, silicon valley, porn, movies, and TV. We'll be debt free overnight, self sufficient in years, and charge everyone UP THE ASS for our exports. Wanna get high, drunk, or beat one out? Not without a 75% SURCHARGE!!!
Sure you are. So what is your plan for military protection? Contract with the United States Army, Navy, Marines, National Guard, Coast Guard, and Border Patrol?
