While I agree on the personal/network distancing it is sad that political correctness has basically removed a lot of talent (left and right if you must use political divides) - not necessarily talking about Roseanne - from art, entertainment and business. If Colbert says on his show that Trump's mouth is Putin's cock-holster (imagine a comedy show under Obama with similar imagery) - note the double standard here - I am still all for people who find Colbert brilliant for whatever reason to enjoy his show/humor (same for Kathy G. when she showed DTs severed head). Back in the days one could have stated that your (e.g ABCs in this case) views do not coincide with Roseannes and the show may have continued. These days that is mostly not an option anymore.
