Patrick saysBut if the virus takes hold here, then it could be a few years before stocks rally. But rally they will.
"Buy when there's blood in the streets."
No time to buy as you have to wait it out. Don't catch the falling knife.
Fortwaynemobile saysIf you aren’t buying dips, you are missing out.You advocate staking financial stability on gambling hunches and "loser" status on not gambling.
No one is gonna hold your hand and tell you to buy now.
Being a winner is a choice. Being a loser is a default.
Is this wise?
I hear that Coronavirus, zinc, nitrogen and a few mowed down neighbors really green up the lawn.
Know that Six degrees of Separation thing?
I am two degrees. Or is it three? ...from a confirmed coronavirus infected person.
Me -> My parents (retired) -> Another couple in the same retirement community as my parents who play bocce ball with them. They are on this cruise ship. Wife has tested positive. Total of 17 passengers are from the same retirement community as well. No, my parents are not one of them on that ship. Nor have I ever come into contact with these people myself.

That guy is a little over the top in my opinion.
This guy should get the MEDAL! OF FREEDOM! from the President !
There doesn't seem to be that much to worry about if you're reasonably young and healthy, and a non-smoker. Most of the deaths are elderly or smokers or have big health problems already.
Work from home if you can. Wash your hands. Have a glass of red wine (some evidence that it reduces flus, and definitely reduces tension). Watch a movie.

I'm going to do the complete opposite and go on a cruise. lol. Although they did just offer an updated cancellation policy. I'm actually looking forward an empty ship. And if you like cruises or have thought about trying one, booking one now is insanely cheap for the coming months. Mine is a 10 day and with fees baked in you're looking at about $550 for an interior room. Food, booze and room all inclusive.... That's likely cheaper than your everyday living budget for those things.
If this thing goes away kind of quietly. pick u...
I haven't seen them taking any young folks off cruise ships in body bags.

Population genetic analyses of 103 SARS-CoV-2 genomes indicated that these viruses evolved into two major types...
Although the L type (∼70%) is more prevalent than the S type (∼30%)... Whereas the L type was more prevalent in the early stages of the outbreak in Wuhan, the frequency of the L type decreased after early January 2020. Human intervention may have placed more severe selective pressure on the L type, which might be more aggressive and spread more quickly. On the other hand, the S type, which is evolutionarily older and less aggressive, might have increased in relative frequency due to relatively weaker selective pressure.
some kind of chemo cream directly on it for a few weeks.
