Ah - good question, Grasshopper. As you can see in comment #1 (above), TPB shares his wildest hopes that the coronavirus is super deadly - especially to Democrats between the ages of 16 to 35.

Because I lean right doesn't mean I agree with 10# all the time. I don't want to see anyone die from this virus, left, right or center. Death is bad. Statistically speaking though, deaths are going down at a rapid pace, even in the early open states. New case testing results lag with real time for sure. Most death cases were already tested and known to have had the virus.

In another thread I think the Utah stats showed that maybe 30% died outside of a hospital setting there. You'd think Covid would be the first thing they test for upon admitting someone. So those test results are likely known upon death in the hospitalization cases. So it's not nearly as much of a lagging indicator as new cases.

Ultimately, if new cases jumped 100M overnight and deaths are going down, who cares? Pandemic are about people actually dying, not just getting the virus and living. It appears this virus attacked or attacks our weakest. Again, death is bad, but at some point you've lived a full life or made very poor health decisions. That's not reason to shut our country down.

Eliemae I thought you exhausted all of your trying to set me straight, after everything I said about Obamacare in 2012 turned out to be 100% correct plus some.

And you're in the medical field, you should have known I knew exactly what I was talking about. Why do Liberals make it a mission to silence the truth.

They never EVER argue with liar, or someone just talking shit making stuff up. They only attack the truth.

Yeah makes complete sense. Since the right is burning churches, businesses, murdering and beating people and vandalising hundreds of businesses and ruining lives.

Black Americans are killed at a much higher rate than white Americans
Although half of the people shot and killed by police are white, black Americans are shot at a disproportionate rate. They account for less than 13 percent of the U.S. population, but are killed by police at more than twice the rate of white Americans. Hispanic Americans are also killed by police at a disproportionate rate.

Black people KILL EACH OTHER at a much higher rate.
Although half the people shot are White, Blacks are responsible for HALF OF ALL VIOLENT CRIME despite being 13% of the Population.

The fact that the Cops killed 28 unarmed people in 2019, and 9 of them were Black, the fact is over 2/3 were White, which is disproportionate to the Black Violence Rate.

Here we go again, in one ear and out the other, with Black Crime Stats

CBOEtrader says

Per police encounter a black is far less likely to be shot by police.

Police brutality will be a joke of an issie as long as blacks commit 6 to 10x their proportional rate of violent crime.

It's like explaining to a beta how women work. You explain it, they seem to understand, as soon as a chick comes by, they go right back to default asskissing behavior.

I think the OP is mistaking 'facts' for 'opportunistic appetitive delusions of the left' and 'progressive propaganda goose stepping orders'.

The agitprop repeating stations around here are only generally useful because you can surmise that the exact opposite direction of what they post is the direction to the truth. In that sense, they are like reverse divining rods.

I can find a bunch of comments saying Trump is great/Dems are poopy heads also.

And stupid or whatever doesn’t really apply when one side or the other is playing with different fact sets. The problem isn’t one of logic. It’s one of ignorance and the author of these sentiments may not realize he is on the wrong set of things.

For instance the university thing..it’s a civil matter and I assure you no Trump supporter really cares and most of his detractors don’t actually care either, nor do they know what, if anything, Trump did wrong.

Rather silly set of sentiments when you dissect a bit.

It will be a Trump landslide. I wonder why more of you don’t realize exactly how huge this country is, and that not everyone shares the values of the big coastal cities.

I saw very few middle aged people in the riots and protests. I don’t know if you realize how the majority of Americans view the riots. Basically guaranteed Trumps re election.

Sam Harris and Scott Adams did a podcast together in which Harris goes through a bunch of complaints such as the ones in the thread head; Adams gives a more positive spin on each item. Some will say Adams is excusing bad behavior, but Mr. Adams truly has a unique perspective. It's long but worth a listen; you could start about 10 minutes in if you want to get to the meat immediately.

"In this episode of the Waking Up podcast, Sam Harris and Scott Adams debate the character and competence of President Trump."

You don't get it bro.

All of that is well worth is because what Trump SAID, he said he could bring low paying sewing jobs back to America. Not like those previous Presidents who would have been talking about winning the technology battle and investing heavily in education and automated manufacturing. Oh and also the other big key is having less Mexicans here. Thats how you grow the working class (by removing a huge chunk the working class when unemployment is zero - don't you see ?). Apparently inflation is the answer not just for Trump with all of his leveraged real estate assets, but also for us.

These are things Trump said he would do, not that he would or did do.

Or yeah, maybe it's about that other thing.

Not entirely. That's why it's funny.

Yes, this was the "freedom to offend" site.

But as it becomes increasingly obvious (even to members of the cult) that the strongest argument that can be made in the 2020 campaign against Trump is how divisive he is, suddenly some of his supporters are trying to get in front of that by saying that the opposite is true.

Since Trump is and always has been completely about unifying America and not dividing it (that's what the dirty commie libs do), it's only appropriate that after having this break through about Trump, Patrick wants to lead by example helping Trump to continue his successful efforts unifying America.

As much as the polarization in America has decreased in America, thanks to Trump, there's still more work to do. Hence civil debate is what it's all about.

See last elections in Great Britain, where working class regions switched to Tories after voting for Labour since forever. Reason: if liberal media calls you an idiot hick long enough, you will get pissed and vote against your own economic interests.

I haven't read Steven's book, but I can see that what IT IS NOT ABOUT, is a group being labeled in an innocuous way, and then reacting to that label by buying (or being resold) a bunch of propaganda.

They and others, including trust fund types and many others that have reason to wish the right wing propaganda were true may I guess be considered victims of their own vulnerabilities and weaknesses.

To then label them after the fact as a "type" may have a very minor affect of making them likely to stick with the propaganda even while realizing it's wrong. But it's really beside the point. Certainly beside the point Jazz was making, which was about what happened to the republican party.

I'm guessing at least 60% chance rdB6 didn't read the paragraphs about Steven's book, at least not yet when he wrote that comment. Whether or not I'm right, it's all so fucking beside the point.

I read about 60% of it and in that sense you are right %-wise. But Jazz comment before quote from book seems kinda racist and divisive, 180 deg from what he claims he means (that we all should be united against establishment, which I agree with). If his side keeps calling me a Fucking White male, Oppressor of Womyn and Minorities, what chance there is that I ever vote for them?

More properly in context:

"The “deep state conspiracy theory is for nut cases”, Bannon is quoted as saying, because “America isn’t Turkey or Egypt”.

There is a formidable government bureaucracy in the US, he adds, but “there’s nothing ‘deep’ about it. It’s right in your face.”"

Bannon is being glib. He didn't say it didn't exist, he said it isn't a conspiracy because it isn't secret and it is right in your face. I would say that means it has graduated from conspiracy theory to a fact of life, but there are more layers than a dismissive theory.

I would tend to agree, although 'Deep State' is still a synoptic useful term. If they covered up Epstein's mess, and murdered him in a Federal prison in full view brazenly, and continue to pull transparent and obvious psychopathic strategies, they are certainly not a shadowed conspiracy theory any more. They just now have the arrogance to believe that nobody can do anything about it so why lurk in the shadows any more.
