I do not. I absolutely do not even believe the people in power were elected.

What say you?

I suspect few of you dare to respond.

I agree with you.

If you want a defining moment that indicts everyone in the Federal Government, I submit the time that President Trump during his State of the Union Address stated that some special forces operative in Africa did not die in vain. Everyone knew he had been creeping around in Africa, doing a black ops project, and yes his death had no purpose. However, everyone in attendance: that's all of Congress, every member of the Supreme Court, every department and Agency of the Executive Branch stood and applauded. The applause set a record for the length of time of an applause was given for any remark in any State of the Union address in the history of the United States.

Trump stood up and played the perfect meat puppet and everyone went along with it. There was no dissention. Even the Iraq war had a few nay votes, but for this lie...everyone was for it.

I suppose the last people I trusted that had power over me were my parents.

Since I developed critical thinking ability I've known that a person "who is driven" to make decisions for others that they will never meet is going to be a narcissist at the very best, and most probably a sociopath.

This is true for politicians, police, and a significant percentage of business managers.

That's why I'm a theoretical anarchist. I don't believe that we need government to have a culture. I believe quite the opposite - that people formed mutually beneficial relationships at the personal level first. It was only after these successful endeavors reached a critical mass that some type of centralized decision making apparatus attached itself, remora like, to the host.

I do not know this from some deep study of history, but from my personal beliefs in human behavior. Empathy for people beyond your immediate interaction is contrived.

NO!

Of course not, but the real question is who is in power? Sure Pewlowsi and the Cadaver in Chief (tm) have an amount of power, and governors seem to have power over lives and deaths. But who pulls their strings, those are the ones with real power, Uber wealthy bankster types that get their way no matter the results of “democratic” elections.

I dont know who is pulling the strings but I bet they have a big nose.

How do you reckon, Patnet is a Forum where the users parse their questions beforehand, to not piss off the Commies?

To answer the question, I don't trust any Commies, especially the ones installed at the Capitol or the White House.

Mother, should I run for president?
Mother, should I trust the government?
Mother, will they put me in the firing line?
Is it just a waste of time?

The irony is that most if not all of these freedom/working class type musicians have been had by the establishment via TDS and also maybe pressure (threatening on cancellation) and bribery. They should have all been on Trump's side but sided with the establishment against the common working people they used to represent.

Wrong!
People need organization more than they need almost anything else. At small scale this looks like tribalism with a chief. Larger scale it’s nationalism with a king or perhaps an elected leader. The very worst sort of situation for any group of humans is anarchy, because that means the people
1)don’t know what they should be doing
2)can’t trust each other to not kill or hurt them or steal the products or their labors
3)can’t be very productive because they have to be constantly on guard against other humans.

This is an intolerable situation and people will accept ANY government in lieu of anarchy. Even stompy totalitarian police state communism is better, if only marginally.

Some people talk of the enlightened anarchy we will achieve in Utopia. In practicality most people have been so indoctrinated into the system that they don't realize they are lost sheep and the shepherd they dutifully follow is actually the wolf that eats them. These sheep have no problem turning you in for not following the flock.

So shut up, put on your mask, and take the fucking shot in the arm before it's required. Those that don't submit now, will get a special shot later.

Nor do I.

We have always had rule by the elite.

The dirty secret of the shepherd is that he eats mutton. Sure he takes care of you, protects you from outside threats, and ensures you have food. But he takes a sheep from the flock on the regular and butchers it for meat.
What to do if you’re a sheep?
Watch out for the shepherd when he’s got a hungry look in his eye!

You do know who pulls the strings. You are just afraid to say it.

The people who create the money, they pull the strings, all of it. Woodrow Wilson is the biggest traitor in all of American history, and he wasn't Jewish. I think the whole Jewish thing is a distraction, they are a scapegoat.

quite a bit of intermarriage between the old New England types

There was quite a bit of marriage between people of the same royal families, for fear of tainting their bloodline with unworthy contributions. Look up "Hapsburg jaw" to see some of the consequences of their inbreeding.

but the real question is who is in power?

I think the answer is pretty simple, the motherfuckers with all the money.
"The number of men with as much wealth as half the world fell from sixty-two to just eight between January 2016 and January 2017, according to Oxfam International, fewer than 200 super-connected asset managers at only 17 asset management firms—each with well over a trillion dollars in assets under management–now represent the financial core of the world’s transnational capitalist class."
I heard this guy on the radio and he broke it down pretty good: https://www.project-censored.org/shop/p/giants-the-global-power-elite

"You will own nothing and you will be happy"
