When you walk past someone else without a mask on outdoors, please thank them, preferably loud enough for others to hear.

"Thank you for not wearing a mask!"

Conversely, if you have the guts, ask people wearing a mask two questions:

1. "Why are you wearing a mask?" They will reply with some false answer about safety.
2. "How many outdoor transmissions have there been worldwide?"

And that's enough. No need to get into any argument. Let them look up the answer.

I'm not expecting a cogent answer.

Nor have you given many.

you just look foolish..

And on the contrary your arguments almost seem plausible, almost. Not that I think Wookie is wrong. He is right.

Trumpism is the closest in America, but I wouldn't go as far as calling it Fascist - except maybe in Trumpist's wet dreams of taking power by force from a democratically elected government.

We just had a crooked election to place a corrupt, senile old man, that will do anything the military industrial complex asks him to do.

The United States is a military dictatorship. Not a republic.

Did q-anon tell you that, or the my pillow guy? lol

It was the bullshit election where they stopped counting on election night but had to keep counting for weeks.

Or do you think the election went flawlessly?

I think the election was blatantly stolen and the Wuhan overreaction was a key part of the fraud.

Statistics and math. I don't rely on narratives. Don't think Rich and many others here rely on narratives either. #manipulation #challenge

There's no mathematical way Biden got as many votes as he did and in the areas he did. While proof is likely coming, no one on the other side can prove impossible anomalies in voting count, patterns, etc.

There's likely to be a bombshell at some point to cause turmoil in the US. If you don't see that there's an underground war going on, you're blind. And people on this site or others are not your enemy. Politics be gone. We're actually all on the same side, I just don't think you know it.

You've been manipulated and need to open your eyes. This isn't about Trump or Biden anymore. Never was. That's all a distraction.

Worldwide, scientists have not documented any instances of outdoor transmission unless people were in close conversation, Dr. Muge Cevik, an infectious-disease specialist at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, told me. “The small number of cases where outdoor transmission might have occurred,” she wrote on Twitter, “were associated with close interactions, particularly extended duration, or settings where people mixed indoors alongside an outdoor setting.”

There are zero documented instances of casual outdoor transmission.

By "fascism" I mean all forms of totalitarianism which require you to show papers simply to move about normal life.

And you, @ThreeBays are clearly supporting this kind of totalitarianism. You are therefore an enemy of basic human rights.
25   Patrick   2021 Apr 1, 5:28pm

But let's look at it in terms of a principle I just learned:

"Political positions are motivated by existential fears."

So you're afraid you might not exist because you'll get this mostly harmless virus and die. The chances of that seem like pretty much zero to me, unless you're very old and/or very fat. There were no excess deaths in America in 2020 over a normal year. There was just politically motivated counting of normal deaths as virus deaths.

I'm afraid that people like you are being used to drastically reduce our rights, leading to people like Kamala setting up death camps for everyone who questions her absolute power over our free movement, speech, and right to own guns. You probably think I'm crazy to think that. But I do think that.

What the fuck is Q anyway? And why the fuck should we care what they say? (Rhetorical, please don't answer)

Trump seemed to be on our side, but could the lockdowns have been successful with a democratic president? I think they targeted his germaphobia,

Trump was either a willing actor, or way over his head. I think the people that really control the world have a lot of contingency plans but did not think Hillary would lose twice.

Willingly or not Trump burnt down the whole facade of government from the supreme court to the local police. Like someone else said in a different thread, they have lost credibility. Credibility is something that is easy to lose and almost impossible to regain. I never much trusted the police, but they are doing a valuable job. I used to trust the supreme court, but after the last election I have lost faith in them.

We are at war.
27   Patrick   2021 Apr 1, 6:02pm

Do you support the requirement that people show papers to move about normal life?
28   Patrick   2021 Apr 1, 6:11pm

Huh, I wanted to get raw death data and plot it myself, but the only source seems to be the CDC, headed by Fraudulent Fauci, so I really don't trust it. Not that it matters, because they don't release current data anyway:

Currently, the CMF spans the years 1968- 2016

29   Patrick   2021 Apr 1, 8:05pm

OK then, we agree more than I thought.

But I disagree that it's like war time.

If no one told you there was a pandemic, you would notice nothing unusual.

No one can even tell if they were sick or not without a very unreliable test.

Maybe Milan and NYC had surges where hospitals were briefly flooded, but that happens routinely with various flus anyway.

The right response would have been for the elderly and obese to stay at home. Not for the 99.7% of the population that is not at risk to stay home.

Funny how YouTube put a "Context" statement from Wikipedia that stays in view for the whole video. It appears the Oligarchs have a vested interest in the AGW hoax.

Yup. Our dip shit "leaders" are now wearing two masks. You can't go full retard... they did. Waiting for Robert Downey Jr. to be cancelled for that movie line...

Probably not national news and probably something you Coastal guys wouldn't hear. Tammy Duckworth is contemplating running for POTUS. She's a Chicago machine proxy, no different than Obama. Clinton obviously was born here. Rahm Emannual (sp?). I'm not sure why she'd state this when her party has had the executive branch for only a few months. https://www.forbes.com/sites/carlieporterfield/2021/03/28/sen-duckworth-floats-running-for-president-if-its-good-for-the-country/?sh=3e8ede214a90

Sure she's not saying she'd primary Biden, but still. Kind of weird. Methinks the Dem party is secretly in massive turmoil or the puppet strings are being used very early. The early days of Biden have not been very positive and even the MSM is giving him a "little" shit. 90% of America just got paid with some of my money, so they're happy.

Anyone know how to screen capture a few seconds of it?

Maybe people wearing masks are ugly. I've been mildly flirting with this female trainer at my gym, only to be disappointed when I finally saw her face when she took a drink from her water bottle.

Mask wearing is stupid on so many levels, one of which you just mentioned. I'm sure it will be called bullying or low class, but looks matter. There's a lot to the human face in communication and body language (face language) as well. Like being able to tell if someone is upset. Mouth movements (reactions) matter.

And of course the horse mouth, crooked teeth gal is getting away with it right now. Wouldn't be surprised if that's 20-30% of the reason masks are still a thing. Ugly chicks, and guys I suppose getting more attention with only eyes showing.
49   Patrick   2021 Apr 6, 9:41am

On my lunchtime walk yesterday, I saw two people pull up masks when I approached and each time I said "That's really not necessary, since there is no outdoor transmission. See NY Times on Feb 12th..."

To my surprise, both of them agreed! The first said she pulled up her mask because some old man had yelled at her for not having one. The second one said she was from Alaska but heard that people in the Bay Area were real fanatics so she was afraid of not complying.

In both cases it was not fear of the virus, but fear of irrational people.
50   EBGuy   2021 Apr 6, 3:53pm

Normally I do wear my mask when walking outside even though I think it's epidemiologically useless because oftentimes it is socially constructive to "signal" virtuous behavior.

But today I was at first drinking some water while walking and then I just didn't put it back on.

The take home bombshells (not to those of us here who have been saying this for months) are that 1) the PCR tests do not diagnose viral disease or infection and 2) there is essentially no asymptotic spread of the virus because only those people who have active viral replication in their cells show symptoms. Those who do not have viral replication in their cells don’t shed the virus, and also don’t show symptoms.

Niece got booted from school today because she was around a kid that tested positive. I picked her up because my sis was at the doctor herself. I didn't give a flip. Why at this point? I should be dead by now if it was sooooooo dangerous.

This has to stop at some point. Logic isn't a thing anymore. I'm getting heat from my mom now to get vaccinated. I ain't touching that shit. I'm very cut and dry type. If I don't see her for years, I frankly don't care. Not getting vaccinated. Logic and facts matter. Covid won't kill me. It should have already and I was massively sick anyway in early January.

I have massive anecdotal evidence that covid is a huge nothing burger. It can't be debunked. Too many people involved as well. If being fatigued for a week is something to be scared of, we have bigger problems.

Whatever. I'm out, soon!

Been biking the past 2 evenings in Baltimore City (South Baltimore to be specific). Maybe 20% are wearing masks. Even saw like 2 people biking with masks on. Some joggers wearing masks (actual people jogging, not the other kind of "jogger"), and some people walking with masks on. And this was in an area with lots of walkers. What was interesting is how places had plastic jersey walls closing of parts of the streets so that restaurants could put tables there. Places were mostly either closed or open and had a lot of people in them. I did not see the cruise ships docked in the port.
