It's a bunch of horse manure. I mean, give me a break. This country has had more opportunity for more people than any country in the history of the world, and it doesn't matter where you trace your ancestry from, we've had people that have been able to succeed. ...
Here's the problem with things like critical race theory that they're peddling: they're basically saying all our institutions are bankrupt and they're illegitimate. Okay, so how do you have a society if everything in your society is illegitimate?
So it's a very harmful ideology – and I would say, really, a race-based version of a Marxist-type ideology. So we banned it in our schools here in Florida. We're not going to put any taxpayer dollars to critical race theory, and we want to treat people as individuals, not as members of groups.
Stoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is that a Sikh?
POLITICSGETTING DESPERATE! Liberal Media Tries To Derail DeSantis With Laughable Hit Piece
Democrats are terrified of Ron DeSantis, whose national profile has been elevated by his performance as the nation’s best governor.
The Florida Republican has become the national model for the successful management of the COVID crisis without destroying his state’s economy and respecting civil liberties at the same time.
This of course has earned him the contempt of his unscrupulous opponents and their allies in the media whose specialty is the smear campaign. Now, the activist left is buzzing over a newly launched hit piece published by Politico.
The basis of Politico’s report is that a number of whiny former staffers have gone on record that the governor and his wife were “mean” to them. Yes, really.
They went on to say that they were so traumatized, they formed a support group to meet regularly to gripe about their hurt feelings. ...
In addition to his handling of COVID which is the gold standard, DeSantis has spearheaded a series of new laws that protect Floridians from violent leftist rioters, prevents the defunding of local police departments, bans the cancerous critical race theory, and most recently, an election integrity law that has Democrats howling in despair.
It’s a sign of pure desperation when Politico has to rely on a gaggle of disgruntled former staffers griping about their ex-boss to build the left’s case against him.

"That's all the bullets we had, or we would have shot him more," Judd said after autopsy results were released Saturday.

Judd has served as president of the Florida Sheriffs Association (2013-2014)[3] and president of the Major County Sheriffs of America (2018-2019)[3] He is also a commissioner on the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Commission.[9] Judd has also served as an active member of the Bartow Rotary Club since 1994[9] and was a member of the Board of Directors for the club from 1996-1999.
Judd gained publicity as a sheriff with his "tell it how it is" demeanor.[6] In 2006, after a traffic stop resulted in a deputy and his K-9 dog being shot and killed, deputies shot and killed the suspect, shooting him 68 times. When asked by a reporter about the number of shots, Judd responded, "That's all the bullets we had, or we would have shot him more."[10]
E-Verify mandatory in Florida
As a gubernatorial candidate in 2018, DeSantis vowed to mandate the use of E-Verify among all employers in the state. This was controversial and opposed not only by some immigrant advocacy groups, but also by business groups — especially those in agriculture, construction, and hospitality. Following Governor DeSantis’ signing of the bill, a spokesperson explained, “Given the high unemployment rate due to COVID-19, it is more important than ever to ensure that the state’s legal residents benefit from jobs that become available as Florida continue to reopen in a safe and smart manner.” While the measure expands the use of E-Verify, Florida does not join the states that require use of the system in hiring practices for all employers.
For private employers who do not contract with the state or receive state incentives, Florida law will now require these private employers to use E-Verify, or alternatively use the Form I-9 and maintain copies of the documents used to complete the Form for three years...
Trump is the legitimate leader of the Republican Party.
He could also end Scamdemic.
It's pretty well acknowledged that Ivermectin and HCQ (with zinc) are very effective against Covid especially if given early.
FDA & CDC flunkies went more than out of their way to badmouth these treatments, and in the case of HCQ even banned doctors from prescribing it. Murder charges are initiated by the States. Thousands of Floridians died because of this malfeasance. He could have the State of Florida do an investigation as to conspiracy to commit murder. If DC bureaucrats didn't cooperate fully and quickly, he could have their butts extradited to Florida to face Obstruction of Justice charges.
Everyone knows that DeSantis will do nothing of the sort. He is all theater...no substance.
Musk isn’t that raw, he needed government subsidies.
his drama of being philanthropist is almost unbearable and vomit inducing
Netscape was killed when Microsoft gave away IE.
Lotus123 was killed when Microsoft gave away Excel (at first).
WordStar was killed when Microsoft gave away MS Word (at first).
I remember that they bought some diagramming company and discontinued its products just so it wouldn't compete. I was using the thing at work and then one day we couldn't use it anymore.
