BOTH my dogs got to 16. They were 45 and 65 lbs - not small dogs.

They'd never get that old in the wild. I used to foster. I've seen 8 year old dogs "living in the rough" and they're way old before their time.

I (really my parents) had dogs when I was a kid in the middle of Nowheresville Nowhere. Seriously, very isolated community. None of them made it past 12. We lived a full 1/2 mile away from the road, nearly all of them were hit by cars. I sometimes wonder if it wasn't just suicide? Some just never returned after a day running around through the wilderness - plenty of animals were around that could take them out.

So I don't worry about "non organic food".

It's not about organic. It's about concentration of pesticides. It's the same principle as to why kids used to get sick from lead in fuel but adults didn't get as sick if at all. And families living on ground floor were worse off than those living on the 4th or 5th floor. Smaller beings inhale what's close to the ground, and animals eat a lot of the plants that have been sprayed or come in very close contact with them. It's a real issue for small beings, hardly an issue for a 6 foot tall grown adult. Doesn't always mean though that life is easier "in the wild" as we optimize their care in other ways.

No, there is not a massive database in the US on who got the shot. Biden and his crew already backed off the vax passport because:

1) States fought him on this
2) Biden/Psaki admitted they didn't have a way to track vaxxed people making this whole thing a cluster and losing 100% control of the narrative.

You can download the CDC vax card and fill that shit out yourself if you want. Plenty of people have posted their shots online for you to copy. They have no real way of tracing it back.

However, they are now pushing the booster shot this Sept which may be the ground work on how to track those who took it.

I'm just pissed this is something I even have to think about. I think most MLB stadiums are at full capacity now. Cases should be surging like a mother fucker. They're below the start of this thing at this point as far as new daily cases. Vaccine doesn't stop the spread, just reduces or stops symptoms. I'm going to Red Rocks, CO this weekend for a show. I have zero fear of covid from the plane, concert or my buddies coming down from MT.

The Novavax is due to be approved shortly and will offer another option that’s not mRNA based, but more of a traditional vaccine. It might still cause problems for some people but so far trials show that it’s not only safer than the mRNA vaccines but it’s also more effective against the variants.
If I were to get vaccinated against Covid this would be my choice.

I mean, have you heard that “dose makes the poison?” A shot of some spike proteins is likely far less quantity and injected in a far more local way than getting your whole body to produce the spike protein by injecting billions of viruses or mRNA particles to produce mass quantities of the spike. The smaller portion with the Novavax should be far less than it takes to cause disease and it won’t cause your body to produce any more of it.
They’re already saying that Novavax is safer for people with medical issues.

Why do they have to build vaccines based on the spike protein - it's nonsensical unless your motive is pure greed as the antibodies will fade quickly and then you need regular and frequent boosters. I know that somehow simply supplying weakened or dead strains of actual CVs hasn't worked well in the past, perhaps for the same reason as for the flu, frequent mutations, but for the flu they try to anticipate the variants in a yearly cocktail and at least exposure to the actual virus should give you some T cell immunity with some cross immunity as well, not just AB based immunity. If anyone medically skilled has the answer as to why no weakened/dead strain cocktail is used, please post here. Any current "vaccine" is a no-go for me.

Just looked it up and that's correct. The Novavax vaccine would be the preferred choice once approved as there is no spike-protein producer active, instead harvested spike proteins are injected, so there's a known number of spike proteins entering the body. Definitely better than the MRNA and Viral DNA vector based vaccines. What remains unknown though is the length of protection and also it had less than 50% effectiveness against one of the variants. Either way it's progress.

Progress in the way of a lesser evil for those who are high risk. Still not a good choice to inject spike proteins vs weakened or dead viral strains instead. The spike protein is part of the virus but theoretically a small amount of virus should suffice for the immune system to remember it and moreover to not just recognize it by the spike protein but also via its other characteristics.

Went today to my local Natural Food Co-op. At least half of the youngish, affluent, hippie/hipster customers were wearing masks. It is now clearly a virtue signal for them.

When I was up in Soap Lake area, no masks. Closer you get to larger population centers and chains, then you start seeing them. Some mini marts had them, some didn't.
