GoFundMe has frozen the $4 million in funds raised by the trucker convoy now wending its way across the country toward Ottawa in a protest against vaccine mandates.

I knew they should never have picked that corrupt leftist organization.

I just donated like $300 to a couple of friends through that platform. One with vax injury and one with cancer. Suggested “tip” for the platform was 18%. I gave the platform $0.00

That's some South America third world country shit, right there. Where you got to tip the guy, that tips the guy, that pays the local cop the extortion money.

The only surprise here is that these truckers elected to use such an immoral web service to start with. If we continue doing business with people who do not hold our values, we will continue to aid them in the decline of our civilization. Wake the fuck up, and start pointing the finger where it will do the most good, back at yourself.

I still don’t understand why they care so much about wether someone is vaccinated?

If someone is standing on the ledge ready to jump, I’m gonna try and talk them out of it. Maybe I’ll even go so far as to spend hours trying to help the person. But I’m not walking up next to the person and physically restraining them. Not worth that effort and not worth the risk to myself.

Vaccines are now 100% proven not to slow the spread of Covid. Maybe they help people from getting real sick or dying. I’m not even sure that’s proven but it’s not necessary for this discussion. What is true is that something like 70% of the us population is vaccinated and I’d guess even higher in Canada. So why in the universe does anyone at all care if anyone else chooses to get vaccinated or not?

Can you think of any incentive for under-reporting the number of people who have not taken the shot? If you can, you probably want to make sure your source is not biased by that incentive.

Also, percentage should be based on total population, whether they are eligible or not.

I know for a fact that in Eastern Europe jab numbers are overstated by at least a factor of 1.5 if not 2. None of my relatives back home have been jabbed. Zero, zilch, nada. And country supposedly has over 50% jab rate. Part is of course that some "are" jabbed but in reality are not, but these are in minority. I don't know why gubbermint lies there, perhaps to look better in eyes of their globalist buddies.

Yes if I’m in Wyoming, no ones vaccinated. I mean some are, but obv much lower than on say California where I live and most people are vaccinated.

Here’s the thing….Wyoming has 1% the population of California. California is the land of I’m getting my kid vaccinated from a virus that literally has no impact on those under 18.

I don’t think the vaccination numbers are at all incorrect.

I agree: I know many people who were champing at the bit to get vaxxed/boosted as soon as possible (some drove from SF to fucknig Fresno for their first dose) and vaxx their kids, some of whom are still in fucking kindergarten. My fucking boss spends literally third of every meeting bloviating about vaxxes, boosters and shit and how he's ready for his 4th "jab". Looney-fucking-tunes.

I don't either, the only people I know that are vaccinated, or people who would do anything to stick it to Trump supporters. Getting the jab when it came first came out, was a big huge "Fuck You" to us annoying know it all Trump supporters, who are always fucking right(stomping feet, and making a NPC face).
Then out of most of those, they have not gotten second or third shots, because it ripped them a new asshole, and still they maintain that they had high blood pressure before. But still are scared to death that Vaxes will be mandated now.

The other class of people I know that got the shot, only did so, because they didn't trust DeSantis would or some sane government body would void any vax mandates. They now regret letting their work dictate their health.

But 89% of the people I talk to, most I assume probably got the vax, so I go easy on my "Idiots that took the shot talk", but later find out they did not take the shot, and think those that did are idiots too, or they were people who were forced against their will because they have bills and obligations, that they would lay their lives on the line for.

There will be blood, and lots of pant shitting!

Were you surprised by the 2016 election?

I have the unique perspective of having worked in blue collar and tech, having grown up in the Midwest, but now living in Socal. And I can tell you for a fact, almost no one outside of the cities in California thinks like people in SF/LA/SD. Also, if you work in tech like I do, you are well aware certain topics or stances are career killers. Like being against covid shots. Further, it's a personal health decision, and many people do not feel comfortable talking about it.

But lets start at the beginning. First the scamdemic is not about health. But if not health, then what is it about? Fear is definitely a central theme, so is coercion. Isolation and feelings of hopelessness/depression are also big parts. If you research mind control, also popularly referred to as "mass psychosis", you'll see these are all essential tools used to separate people from reality.

We know covid death stats are unreliable due to instructions to mis-report cause of death. Also covid infection stats due to the choice to use PCR testing. We know hospitalization capacity is mis-reported due to firing staff, and implementing protocols that only fill up certain wings of a hospital. But somehow, with all the lies and mis-information, we still managed to get shot percentages correct?

Now ask yourself, what if the percentage of people who took covid shots was much lower than reported? What if only 10% of people rushed out to get one in the first few months? If it was reported that most people were forgoing the shots, what does that do for the psychology of the hold-outs? What does that do to the entire scamdemic narrative if no one believes they need a shot to survive it?

I live in a small town near the border of San Diego, and almost no one out here believes covid is serious. So almost no one has taken the shots. Out of mine and my wife's immediate family, about 30% have taken the shot, myself and my wife are really the only ones who practice good health.

So in summary, we have a situation created to manipulate us, built on a shit-ton of lies and coercion, that was so fragile, despite the enormous pressure placed on us to buy it, it's has almost completely collapsed in less than two years. If at any moment we knew support to be FAR less than what we've been told, this scamdemic would have been over before the first shot was ever released.

Bottom line, if you aren't questioning every part of the scamdemic narrative, you are accepting at least a few lies as reality, and need to re-examine your outlook.

Lol, but not when it was "Trump's vaccine". There are tons of quotes about how unsafe it was. And then Biden got in and suddenly "Trump's vaccine" was OK for Democrats to take.

Bizarre.

There's quite a few "I'm not taking the poisonous Trump Jab!" in Sep-Oct 2020 that became "Get the jab, you MAGAts" by March 2021.

Along with the "There won't be a mandate, paranoid Trump voter" in January 2021 that became "Take the fucking shot, you paranoid fuck" by Summer 2021.

Same exact people.

Friends,

Gofundme sucks (again) and is only planning to give out 1 million of the 10 million donated to the Freedom Convoy and distribute the other 9 million to other causes. If you donated, PLEASE REQUEST A REFUND IMMEDIATELY. There is a deadline of February 19th. We will find another way to get money to them--the organizers are working on that and made the request that we request refunds.

The email confirmation you received from gofundme has a link in it that leads to where you can request the refund.

Please circulate this far and wide.

To make it easier, here's the link to request refund for the convoy.

"Why did you do this?" the reporter asks.

Because we stand behind them. We come from [a] communist country, and we came here because we didn't want to have oppression. We wanted to live in a free country, and for the last two years we're living like prisoners. We are being told to stay at home. We are told not to go to the restaurant, not to go to the church. I mean, this is unbelievable. During communism times we were able and free to go to the church, and there were times over here where we couldn't.

With the “Freedom Convoy” protest in Ottawa soon completing its first week, organizers said today no level of government has yet spoken to them directly, while Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wouldn’t confirm if he was considering opening such negotiations but says he remains “steadfast” in his vaccination mandate approach.

“So far, no one from the federal, provincial, or municipal government has spoken directly with us. Instead, they’re using you, the media, to portray us as racist, misogynist, and even terrorists,” said protest organizer Tamara Lich in a press conference on Feb. 3.

“As a woman with Métis heritage, a mother and a grandmother, I am offended. The reality is that members of this freedom movement are average peace-loving and law-abiding citizens from all walks of life, who are fed up with being disrespected and bullied by our government.”

Lich reiterated the protesters would not leave until they see a “clear plan” for the lifting of all pandemic restrictions and mandates, pointing to other regions that have recently made announcements to do so such as Saskatchewan, the U.K., and several countries in Europe.

Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, slammed GoFundMe for taking down the Freedom Convoy’s fund, which amassed over $10 million.
As reported earlier by The Post Millennial, GoFundMe has taken down the Freedom Convoy fundraiser after significant pushback from those opposed to the protest. They stated that they "now have evidence from law enforcement that the previously peaceful demonstration has become an occupation, with police reports of violence and other unlawful activity."
Responding to suggestions that he had donated funds to the GoFundMe, Musk denied that it was his money, but posted a meme that blasted GoFundMe for being “professional thieves.”

I’ve compromised and simply declined to tip Gofundme any money when I donate to a cause. It’s gotta be one I really think is worthy. This isn’t a perfect compromise as their tip is set automatically at 15% (a usurious amount) and many people don’t adjust it. If I donate and share the link, they might get some tips from someone who donates from my referral.
30   Shaman   2022 Feb 5, 9:35am

You know, this is a time when a little “right wing” propaganda might do some good. A viral post or two that comes off as very credible where a cancer patient who blames his cancer on the vax was defunded by Gofundme would be very compelling and accomplish increasing vaccine hesitancy at the same time. It would be a lie, but they say a lie can circle the world three times before the Truth has got its boots on. It would be a lie that would never truly leave the public consciousness, and would neatly pile on to the negative publicity the site has already richly earned.

GoFundMe betrays the Canadian truckers
They’ve shut down the convoy’s campaign, reminding us that this is a fight for freedom

February 5, 2022 | 10:32 am

Under pressure from the Canadian government, GoFundMe has decided to withhold $9 million of the funds raised by the truckers’ Freedom Convoy ($1 million had already been withdrawn). Instead of automatically reimbursing the donors, though, GoFundMe is giving contributors until February 19 to request a refund.

This seems unfair, since some people will lack the time, information or ability to put in their requests. Unclaimed cash is then to be donated to “established” and “credible” charities proposed by the convoy’s organizers — assuming they obtain GoFundMe’s approval (we serfs need authorization before we’re allowed to spend our money).

This is an outrageously political move. The justification proffered by GoFundMe is feeble and deceives no one: they claim the demonstration has become an “occupation” and that “violence and other unlawful activity” is taking place, thus violating their terms of service.

But is it? Where and who are the bad actors? Surely the names of these violent offenders and the precise nature of their connection with the Freedom Convoy are all over the internet by now. Yes, we’ve heard a lot about a swastika flag and a Confederate flag, but if police have established their identities and their relation to the convoy, the world has yet to hear about it.

The Canada Revenue Agency claimed that office buildings had been ransacked by trucking protestors, but that was a lie. Street crime in the Centretown district dropped from thirty-one incidents the week before to just three in the week truckers have been present. No riots, no injuries, no deaths, say police. Protesters shovel and salt city sidewalks, clean up trash, and set up soup kitchens and woodfired pizza ovens to feed the homeless

Nonetheless some people in Ottawa feel they are being held “hostage” by the truckers (though if illegal threats were made, who are the guilty parties?) and that their city is “occupied” — emotionally charged language without precise meaning. Do they object to citizens simply existing in a public space?

And from there it’s been a short route to equating peaceful protesters to terrorists, demanding that the identities of donors to the GoFundMe be revealed — a Liberal member of Parliament did both on Friday (social credit, here we come!) — and government expropriation of funds intended to support lawful opposition. Isn’t that, er, a bit problematic?

In collaring the $9 million, Trudeau no doubt thinks he is breaking the backbone of the truckers’ movement: no more financial resources and, hopefully, the demoralization of its supporters. When it’s made clear that only powerful people can expect to be treated fairly, it terrorizes the little people into good behavior.

But Trudeau is underestimating the protesters. It becomes more apparent by the day that the Freedom Convoy group is extremely well organized. Its participants are patient and determined. Its leaders are professional, level-headed and calm. They’ve clearly made a study of the protests that have gone on all over the world in recent years and learned from mistakes made. It’s unlikely that this changeup will seriously affect their plans.

Certainly the loss of $9 million will have an impact. But it will also affect the fence-sitters who won’t be able to unsee the blatant unfairness of the move. Never interrupt your enemy when he’s making a mistake. Trudeau is singlehandedly demonstrating his tyrannical tendencies to the whole world. When you’re prime minister, skulduggery is never a good look.

It’s important to remember that the success of the GoFundMe campaign was not only the piling up of millions. It also served as an enormously valuable barometer of Canadian public sentiment. It revealed for all to see the true extent of opposition to Covid policies, concealed up to this point by dubious polling and strict media narrative control. It built momentum for the truckers as the total climbed and climbed. It was inspiring.

Just before the campaign was shut down, it had become the fifth most successful in GoFundMe’s history. Large numbers of Canadians wanted to spend whatever they could spare to end the mandates. All the mandates. For everyone.

Small donations pouring in showed that ordinary people from all over the country felt the truckers’ mission resonated with them in a special way. The messages left by donors were both in French and English, from Maritimers and British Columbians, from vaccinated and unvaccinated. The common themes were: thank you, end the mandates, and let’s stop the division between vaccinated and unvaccinated. It was a snapshot of the real Canada: generous, courageous, grateful.

As the giving increased, Liberals became more and more anxious. Gerry Butts, Trudeau’s gray eminence, said to be the power behind the throne, was nervous almost from the beginning, calling for an investigation into the GoFundMe. His instinct was to cut off the money and get a list of the sources — for “national security” purposes, of course. He clearly thought GoFundMe could be rendered pliable; it’s not the first time they’ve caved to political pressure.

The Liberals are playing hardball — and cheating — but that’s no surprise to the trucking convoy. Many of them would give more than money to ensure their children grow up in a free country: blood, sweat, toil and tears. It’s going to be a long haul, but that’s what truckers do best.

https://babylonbee.com/news/gofundme-freezes-funds-for-childs-heart-surgery-after-finding-out-he-supports-trucker-protest?source=patrick.net

OTTAWA—The popular fundraising site GoFundMe has frozen funds for a local 5-year-old's heart surgery after it was discovered that the boy was a supporter of the Canadian Trucker Protest.

"Make no mistake, we will never provide support to Nazis or Nazi-adjacent people like Canadian Truckers who want freedom from forced vaccination," said GoFundMe CEO Ted Gerbaguman. "Once we determined that little Timmy was providing vocal support to his truck-driving Dad who won't get vaccinated but wants his job back, we froze the funds right away. It's the right thing to do."

The site has notified 823 donors who raised $32,000 that their funds will now be donated to Planned Parenthood and Black Lives Matter unless they appear in person at the GoFundMe headquarters to fill out a 100-page form requesting their money back.

"As long as you fill out the form and promise to forever support approved progressive causes, you can have your money back! We're nice like that," said Gerbaguman. "To make things simpler, we will soon be unveiling a drop-down menu that will provide a list of approved Communist people and causes to support."

Timmy will now get in line in hopes of receiving heart surgery from Canada's nationalized healthcare system in 10-15 years.

Black Lives Matter Founder Patrisse Khan-Cullors said she's looking forward to purchasing a seventh mansion with the funds.

1. Trudeau has no legal justification for invoking the Emergencies Act.

It has never been invoked before -- not even on 9/11, or the 2014 terrorist attack on Parliament.

Trudeau called the truckers "terrorists" but everyone can see that's a lie.

2. Tonight Trudeau called the truckers, and the countless citizens cheering them on, "dangerous" and "not peaceful". But in fact there has not been a single act of violence committed by any of them in two weeks.

3. The Emergencies Act is to made to defend against a genuine threat to the security of the nation. The definition of "threat" in outlined in the CSIS Act. It has an extraordinarily high bar: laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/PDF/…

4. There is no espionage threat; no foreign clandestine coup plot; no "serious violence"; no covert act "intended ultimately to lead to the destruction or overthrow by violence".

And the act specifically excludes "lawful advocacy, protest or dissent".

5. This is a coup -- from within government. A desperate, flailing politician who bungled the pandemic, antagonized millions of Canadians and sits at just 16% in the polls (source: winnipegsun.com/opinion/edit…). Three of his own MPs have broken ranks. This is a panicky power grab.

EDITORIAL: Protests, blockades damaging Trudeau
winnipegsun.com

6. There was loud honking in Ottawa. A judge ordered truckers to stop and they complied. The Ambassador Bridge was cleared without incident by local cops.

None of that needed emergency powers.

But Trudeau wants to rule, like his father figure, Castro.

So he made his move.

7. Trudeau's obsession with vaccine mandates exceeds any public health rationale. He wants the biomedical security state -- the database, the power to control, the power to surveil.

And that's what his deputy PM and finance minister, Chrystia Freeland, announced today.

8. $20 million has been raised for the truckers. The first $10M was through GoFundMe. Trudeau pressured them to cancel the campaign. The next $10M was through GiveSendGo. An Ontario court -- in an ex parte (secret) hearing -- ordered the money frozen. And then GSG was hacked.

9. About a million dollars was disbursed to a Canadian bank for the truckers, but that was seized too: reuters.com/world/americas/t…

Not a dime has actually gone to the truckers. But Freeland claims that those funds are tantamount to financing terrorism.

TD Bank freezes two accounts that received funds in support of Canada protests

10. This is the Canadian version of Biden's disgraceful memo instructing the FBI to investigate parents who show up to complain at school board meetings. Trudeau and Freeland have criminalized grassroots, peaceful political activism. foxnews.com/politics/top-hou…

McCarthy demands AG Garland retract memo urging FBI to investigate parents who threaten school...
Three House Republicans have penned a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland, demanding that he “immediately retract” a memo which instructed the DOJ to investigate certain parents concerned...
foxnews.com

11. Here's Freeland announcing that anyone who donated to the trucker crowdfunds is a terrorist financier, and can have their bank accounts seized WITHOUT a court order. Freeland will "share relevant information" about her enemies list with the banks: ...

12. There's more; the bizarre notion of not only commandeering tow trucks, but also "directing" tow truck drivers themselves to work for the government. (What -- at the point of a gun? On pain of jail?)

13. It's hard at first to understand the idea of a coup by someone who is already in office. But recall, Trudeau only won the election with 32% (he lost the popular vote). He's been increasingly erratic and enraged. Even his former admirers are shocked: ...

14. He was losing support from his own MPs. The polls were tanking. The truckers were winning -- not just in the court of public opinion, but actually convincing provincial premiers to hurry up and end their lockdowns. The public were laughing at him. And he can't stand that.

15. By shocking the country with a form of martial law, and the suspension of due process & civil liberties, and granting himself the power to unilaterally seize the bank accounts of his enemies, Trudeau consolidates power, thrills the media and silences critics within his party.

16. I mean, it's "war time" and there are "terrorists" afoot -- you must rally behind the prime minister. It stops the dissent in his own party. But more importantly, it criminalizes the Conservative opposition party..

17. Most political fundraising is done online now through crowdfunding. Most of the donors to the trucker convoy are opponents of Trudeau. Trudeau will now use the State of Emergency to build a "terrorist" database of all of the people who donated to support the peaceful protest.

18. Trudeau says this will be the law for "just" 30 days. But he also said we'd be out of lockdowns in two weeks. The Castro model is the permanent emergency and a permanent revolution against the enemies of the movement. Trudeau's twist is using banks to make his enemies list.

19. And in the background -- Trudeau's new bill to regulate the Internet. That's the final piece of the puzzle, isn't it? parl.ca/DocumentViewer/en/44…
