Putin fucked up, his generals are incompetent, his army is unwilling, Ukraine is unconquered.

The month Putin chose to invade was wrong, but maybe intended to freeze Germany by cutting off the natural gas? He should have invaded in good weather.

The columns you saw of both attack and supply equipment have to travel on roads, or get stuck in the mud.
Ukraine fighters ambush the supply trucks, then no fuel and no food for the soldiers.
The long column you saw was vehicles that had no fuel, and soldiers spent nights with no warmth and no food in 10F nights. The column actually could neither advance nor retreat.

Nobody wants to drive a supply truck since he knows he’s a target, more so than a tank.

The communications of Russian guys isn’t secure; for some reason they cannot use the secure comms they developed. So, Russian soldiers are using iPhones and walkie talkies.

Ukraine guys use “find my iPhone” or similar technology to “reach out and touch someone” with artillery or drone, etc.
This is how they could kill some Russian generals and commanders who were not on the front lines.

The Russians did not have enough precision bombs and have low training time, and air and ground forces are not coordinated, so Russia has no air superiority to protect the sitting ducks in the columns in the road.

Kiev is so large that the Russians are not numerous enough to encircle it.
Putin is not able to call up all of the Russian army without admitting the “special operation” is in fact a war.
So, he’s trying to get Belarus to send cannon fodder, along with Syrian sacrificial soldiers.
(Belarus is not enthusiastic about the idea).

Meanwhile, the Russian conscripts are being hunted down by Ukraine forces and the dead are estimated at 5000 to 15,000
Edit: US Pentagon says 7000 deadskis.
Wounded are likely 3x the number of dead.
It’s too many dead and wounded too soon.

Just recently videos of Russian atrocities against civilians are embarrassing Putin.
There is a tank swerving to run over and crush a civilian car, cars with people inside blown up, people massacred waiting for bread, an old guy shot for walking down the street.

The lie about NATO “provoked” Russia is easily debunked by the Feb 14 meeting in Kiev of chancellor Scholz and Zelensky.
Germany Chancellor Scholz : It was strange Russia would raise this issue (Ukraine in NATO) given it is not on the agenda.
Putin knew that Germany, therefore NATO, had no plans to bring Ukraine into the alliance, however much Ukraine desired it.

Evidently Ukraine doesn’t need NATO; they are going to be armed to the teeth after this is over.

“70% of Russians support the war.”
They are only able to see and hear Putin approved “news.”
The opinion of the Russian population is irrelevant because they don’t want to go fight either, the soldiers in Ukraine are 80% conscripts.
Even generals are not safe in Ukraine.

Russia lost 4 generals already
Yesterday, they destroyed the command post of the 35th Army of the Eastern Military District. It's a cluster of high-rank officers. I'd expect that number 4 is going to jump once the final (pun intended) book-counting is done but we'll see, it'd require confirmation from the Russians.
To be clear: 4 is the number that Russian sources (not the Kremlin) confirmed.

It would be fun to pretend that ratio of killed generals is statistically similar to the number of their killed subordinates, ratio-wise. Given that the lowest general rank (general-major) is in command of approximately 15,000 heads, that would put the number of losses at about 60,000. Not even Ukrainian propaganda claims that. From which I imply that either Russian forces are "top-heavy", or Ukrainians do amazingly good job weeding out top of the iceberg, and creating this statistical bias. If you are a general in Russian military, and you've been called to "liberate" Ukraine, you should have your will ready.

I’m referring to YouTube videos, pictures of a bipolar rapper, etc.

I think it’s lazy.

That many videos are fakes. Like the famous pic of the bloody faced blonde middle aged chick that ran on the cover of several UK Newspapers was from a Chemical Explosion years back, nothing to do with Ukraine.

It just shows the same video side by side. I don't get it.

They "debunk" an obviously fake video they themselves planted. The goal is to imply and make you believe that all video evidence of destruction of civilian infrastructure in Ukraine is fake. Propaganda 101.

It makes as much sense as a very true statement that "same people who raped children are drinking wine".

What possible intelligent consclusion can be made from reading such a statement? Shall I be ashamed that I drink wine too? Shall I quit drinking wine based solely on that statement? This is a primitive manipulation, sorry to break it to you.

With the Ghost of Kiev and, the murder of everybody on Snake Island, and video game footage being passed off as war footage - ALL DONE BY OUR US "NEWS" MEDIA - it's hardly necessary.

This is the news media syndicate that tried to pass off a Kentucky gun show as a viscous attack against Kurds by Turkey in order to restart the Syrian war after all.

BTW (and I'm seriously asking) are these live or faked?

Looks like I was correct, the mighty Russian military is not succeeding after almost one month.

10,000 and 6 generals deadski. 400 tanks and thousands of vehicles blasted, 15,000+ wounded.

Ukraine is enticing some Russian soldiers to desert; they are sending texts to them to surrender and get cash rewards and application for citizenship.
A Ukraine passport might be an incentive for someone who was conscripted and pissed off.

Putin just locked up a guy for 9 years whom he poisoned.
A bunch of kremlin generals and the Russian intelligence agency guy is in house arrest.
I’m having fun watching random YouTubes of the Russian disaster.

Well, why is there a rocket in the middle of a field with nothing in it?

It looks like an unmaintained graveyard. Why would a weapon be dropped into that?

Whatever, doesn't matter. I'm used to everything being a lie during a war.

How can you conceivably think that Russia is in a corner here?

When has the US government EVER told the truth about ANY war?

I don't see why the US propaganda machine is doing this. I can't tell if they are stupid and actually believe their own propaganda, or if there's some ulterior motive. It's just going to further chip away at the credibility of our government and media. Ukraine is going lose, it's inevitable, even with direct NATO intervention they will lose.

I simply cannot understand why ANYBODY believes the US propaganda at this point, and what's the point of being indoctrinated into it? If you believe (or don't believe) that Ukraine will be victorious, it's not going to change the outcome of the war. Russia is losing a war right now, the propaganda war, but that doesn't matter.

The fact of the matter is that neither Europeans nor Americans really CARE about this war. They know sure as hell they don't want to be involved with it. They don't want to pay for it. We've been in 20 years of wars, and what has the US gotten out of any of it? Nothing. This is just another fucking stupid disaster that can only harm the US and Europe. Who gives a shit if Russia is harmed? Nobody sane cares, except Russians.

Colonel General Gennady Zhidko, a top Russian Army commander who was dismissed as Moscow suffered setbacks in the Ukraine war, has died at the age of 57, a regional governor announced on Wednesday.

The former commander of Russia's Eastern Military District and the former Russian deputy minister of defense died in Moscow "after a long illness," Mikhail Degtyarev, the governor of Khabarovsk Krai said in a post on Telegram.

Zhidko served as Chief of Staff of the Russian Armed Forces in Syria in 2016, and in 2018 was appointed Commander of the Eastern Military District. He was made deputy minister of defense in 2021.

He was removed from his post as commander of the Southern Grouping of Forces in October 2022 and replaced by General Sergei Surovikin after just months on the job. His dismissal came as Russia suffered heavy losses in the war.

I think all of the lies that have been told for more than a year and a half about "the Ukrainians are winning," "the Ukrainian cause is just," and "the Russians are evil and the Russians are incompetent," all of that is collapsing. And it is collapsing because what is happening on the battlefield is horrific.

The Ukrainians, now, we think have lost 400,000 men killed in battle. We were taking about 300-350,000 a month ago. the last month of this supposed counteroffensive, which was to sweep the battlefield, they lost at least 40,000 killed. We don't even know how many people have been wounded, but we know probably upwards of 40-50,000 soldiers are amputees. We know the hospitals are full. And we know that Ukrainian units at the platoon and company level... are in piecemeal fashion surrendering to the Russians. not because they don't want to fight, but because they can't fight anymore. They have so many wounded they can't evacuate them. And commanders are saying if they can't evacuate their wounded they're going to surrender because otherwise, the wounded will die.

And I think we're going to see this army we've spent so heavily on increasingly melt away.

They have over 300,000 combat troops in reserve in Russia. And I think they are sitting there and not being released to fight because President Putin anticipates the possibility that we will intervene in Western Ukraine. And if we intervene in Western Ukraine, the Russians will be ready for that. And the consequences for us and for NATO will be devastating because we are not ready to fight the Russians.
