My hope is that the Israelis impose an actual Liberal government, replacing the usual Palestinian Ba'athist, Socialist, or Islamist groups, that agrees to be the terminus of a pipeline and a freeport, which would make them a shit ton of money.

So to be clear that 10 years that the blogger spoke of is speculation. But the Bible promises that when the church is removed from the earth in the rapture, that God will give Israel a dramatic rescue from the 7 years of unrelenting deception and destruction that the books of Daniel and Revelation describe. The rapture and tribulation that follows are a promise from God, the 10 year time period/speculation of that blogger is just that, speculation (not a prediction).
