"Why did T-34's have a machine gun pointing backward in the turret? So they could kill any conscripts that tried to run from the fight."
German General Heinz Guderian - father of the blitzkrieg - saw the T-34 in action in 1941 at the Battle of Moscow and sent a report to German Headqurters suggesting the adoption of the T-34 by the German army. His suggestion basically said 'copy this tank and do not change anything. We need this at the front ASAP.' His suggestion was rejected.
Compared to Stalin, Hitler was a piker. Hitler only managed to kill 6 million - Stalin's numbers are estimated between 20-30 million killed during his "purges."

"I wonder if that story was true. Russians are Slavs, which were officially untermensch in the Third Reich at that time. If he had sent that, he would have probably been arrested at least by the SS. Most likely shot or offered the Rommel Option after that."

How come it's not Russia 24/7 anymore on NPR, CNN, and in the NY Times?
Have they run out of lame tenuous connections that no one is buying and which break no laws? Seemed like they could make up a new story every week for the last 8 months.
Or have they realized that investigating further looks more likely to incriminate Hillary than Trump?
