In which our host knocks down some of the myths surrounding Republicans and presents instead the Revolting Truth that they are smarter, kinder, more compassionate and more liberal than their Democrat counterparts.

Conformity these days means you're on the wrong side if you're not a blithering idiot that okey dokes everything the Liberal media says.

Conformity use to mean abiding by a general consensus rule and honoring social tradition. Today it means shitting on them.

Give the Democrats another election cycle and they'll hijack Conservatism to mean marrying your gay poodle.

I'm afraid the tyranny of the democracy has tipped the scale in their favor.
Blaming them for being chattel of the state is useless as it is above their awareness. IOW debating zombies is generally futile.

"Abiding by a general consensus rule" means obeying democratically agreed norms.

Now that such norms have been overturned by "the tyranny of democracy", apparently general consensus is evil.

America's conservatives, everyone!

Sure, the working folk who've been snowed by the anti-immigrant, anti-welfare, and social positions that the GOP has taken to hide the fact that they want the workers to pay for everything while they lower their own taxes, snap up real estate to rent to workers, and outsource jobs. It's a vicious cycle and the American workers who are complicit have mostly been fooled by propaganda into their current position.
It is getting harder to maintain tho, in the face of rising inequity and obvious banana republic action.
