Putting on my devil's advocate hat here this sounds like the evil Democrats are trying to pass an anti-abortion law by callously wording it as an anti-sex trafficking bill.

Senate Bill 178 is aimed at stopping human sex trafficking. Human sex trafficking is when a bad guy kidnaps your son or daughter and forces them to submit to vaginal and anal intercourse with clients who pay to use your son's or daughter's ass as a jizz repository. In other words, SB 178 is a no-brainer, pass it to save the children act.
Yet for three months Republicans have supported sex traffickers by holding back this law with the Hyde Amendment which has nothing to do with sex trafficking and everything to do with stopping abortions. Yes, Republicans have endangered your sons and daughters, risked them becoming sex slaves, in order to pass their own agenda that has nothing to do with protecting children from becoming sex slaves. That's three entire months they held back this legislation and endangered your children.
Luckily, Senate Democrats kicked Republican ass and go the bill passed without the anti-abortion amendment despite the fact that Senate Republicans did everything they could to block the bill from being voted on without the Hyde Amendment. Republicans are complete scumbags.
