I agree. A judge is sworn to uphold the law. If he can't he should be fired.

If he truly is a believer in his religion, he should quit, as man's law should never be allowed to trump God's. If he attempts to stay in office, and tries to claim religious reasons for not doing his job, I'd say he's just using religion as an excuse, and should be fired for being a pussy, religion has nothing to do with it.
