Bigoted woman won't sell house to Trump voters

By someone else following x   2018 Mar 31, 10:23am 3,424 views   32 comments   watch   sfw   quote     share

Bigoted is a dictionary-perfect definition of this woman:

adjective
1. utterly intolerant of any creed, belief, or opinion that differs from one's own.

http://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2018/03/28/no-trump-buyers/

“I told her [the realtor] that I didn’t want her to sell it to a Trump supporter,” said the woman.

She wants a sale contingent upon how someone votes, but is that legal?

Attorney Allen Sawyer doesn’t believe so.

“That’s an unlawful contractual term that infringes the freedom of association and first amendment rights,” said Sawyer. ...

“People have a right to believe what they want to believe and they shouldn’t be restricted from purchasing property based on that,” said Sawyer.

Despite the legal issues, certified appraiser Ryan Lundquist says the seller may be limiting the pool of potential buyers.

“39 percent of voters voted for Donald Trump in the Sacramento region. That’s an absolute fact,” said Lundquist.

Some good comments:

"That is yet another example of how biased and anti-diversity the left really is. As if we needed another example."
"What is it about liberalism that causes such intolerance?"
"Ahh…progressives and Californians…what a breed. At least they are consistent…laws, ethics, open mindedness only applies to them when they agree with it…if they don’t agree then it doesn’t apply!"
"Turn away black or hispanic Trump supporter? Bring it on!"
"There is a reason we have voting booths. That is so we can cast our votes privately and without neighborhood loony knowing how we voted."
"The left always chants “tolerance and inclusivity” and yet has no tolerance and is exclusive to certain groups of people, not to mention always shutting down the opposing opinion."

Just more proof left is insane.

If anyone ever regrets Trump, just imagine those crazies on the left in charge and disaster it would have been.

Thank god for Trump

She's definitely both a sore loser and a bigot.

But bigot is better, because it points out her hypocrisy. Is she against bigotry? Then she'd have to be against herself.

Now, the University did discipline the Ho in charge (Krystal Ho) for kicking out the pro-Trump students, but also Basalov, the guy filming it --- because he filmed it.

Of course, if he hadn't filmed it, the University would have done nothing.

Why weren’t these same people who are all types of triggered by all this stuff 24/7, vocal about it eight years ago when Obama became president, and dumb fuck racist sore loser Republicans we’re boycotting businesses and demanding we literally destroy our own government just so “the liberals” couldn’t be in charge?

The question is more like where did you see similar occurrences reported ever with reversed sides. I think she should do however she sees fit but I'd wager to say this doesn't happen nearly as often with reversed sides. But if you want to compare this to a business boycott that's a fair point.

Agreed. Have been trying to bring that point across for a while. The original liberal bourgeoisie was hated by the (communist/marxist) left (and to lesser extent by the fascist right as well) but the Dems/left have veered so far off from common sense with the SJW/gender bullshit that common-sense liberals are closer to Republicans/Libertarians these days. Trump in fact is not a classic Republican at all end embodies many liberal principles/policies.

I've been a subscriber since 1995 or so. Bigotry is saying that "very fine people" march with the KKK and literal Nazis. People which find that utterly unacceptable are not the bigots and are not necessarily "the left." I was not "the left," but since they are the main ones defending our country now, I have common cause. Now that they are the main ones defending against attacks of the press, I have common cause. A POTUS posting several videos and pictures violently, physically assaulting the press is an existential threat to US democracy, and you are wrong to criticize people standing up to that - giving time to "the other side" of that is unacceptable.

Lol, to call that comic "several videos and pictures violently, physically assaulting the press" is pretty funny.

So that video is incitement to violence but a bloody severed head of Trump is not?

Seems like highly selective displeasure at wildly differing levels of seriousness.

Comic metaphor => violence!
Severed head of Trump => (tacit approval of serious political violence)

They would say Trump deserves it therefore no biggie, whereas if the Obama version comedian would be labelled an instant racist/white supremacist as they righteously destroy his career.

Not what happened. Some people who were marching in support of keeping Civil War statues in place just happened to be joined by KKK and Nazis. The "very fine people" spoken of were not the KKK and Nazis, but those others who were there to protest the statues being removed.

and to lesser extent by the fascist right

What the devil is a "fascist right?" A Fascist is one who believes in government control but not ownership of the means of production. That position is admittedly to right of Communist, but is just another form of Socialism. Hence the best known Fascists, the NAZI party, has a name that translates to "National Socialist Workers Party." "Socialist" and "Workers Party" are hardly right wing concepts, since the Right tends to support limited government. The ultimate right winger would be an Anarchist, who believes in no government at all.

Fascism may be the future though, since like Communism it gives government the control it desires, but unlike Communism it allows the vitality of the free market so that government does not have to preside over a stagnating collectivized economy. China seems to be going the Fascist route by allowing private ownership but definitely maintaining control. USA seems to be heading to Fascism as well by continually adding more controls and licensing over the existing private property and persons.

There is a good argument to be made that the Nazis were leftists as you mentioned, I have made that before and there is discussions amongst historians about this, but it usually ends with those historians being labeled as "revisionists" which is almost as bad as Nazi. In the end it doesn't matter communists are red painted fascists a famous quote goes. The fascist movement is quite old, much older than the Nazis (comes from the latin word fasces) and it has been more often attributed to so-called right-wing regimes, but in the end it's all the same principle, whether you have government run corporations or big private corporations in bed with politicians, the result is usually the same. Few connected people get very reach and the rest stays poor. It is also true that the non-fascist conservative wing - which is arguably much larger - has been historically advocating for small government and thus certainly cannot be grouped together with the mostly fascist (cultural-marxist) left and the fascist/neocon right. I would definitely argue that recent history has shown that the left has now thoroughly claimed the monopoly on fascism and oppressive government (and facist movements such as antifa) force.
