What party it that? i'm independent formerly republican. Republicans control both houses. How many mandatory usage of e verify bills have they introduced under Trump? Zero.
Yet you never seem to have nary a bad word about Democrats when they oppose "common sense" immigration reform. This week we have Democrats like Kamala Harris saying that no illegal alien family should ever be detained if caught by ICE sneaking across the border. That is basically total open borders. All a human or drug smuggler needs is to carry a kid with them.
I've already conceded that some Republican Chamber of Commerce types are against E-Verify, but the majority of Republicans are for it. E-Verify doesn't get out of committee because they know they can't get enough Democrat votes in the House and Senate once out of committee.
What "common sense" immigration reform are you talking about?
Changing the policy from prioritizing going after proven criminals to simply making everyone a criminal case and creating total chaos.
socal2 saysEnding chain migration
Does this apply to Melania and her family ?
Securing the border for starters. Eliminating sanctuary cities. Beefing up ICE enforcement. Ending chain migration.
Trump Signs E.O. that will keep migrant families together - What's the next Democrat Faux Outrage Du Jour?
How about something concerning the Golden Golem's brilliant tariffs that may lead to a depression ?
PrivilegedtobeWhite saysI still just cannot understand any Left logic on the pro-illegal-immigration stance.
It's called pro- human rights. Pro- not having my rights trampled
If you don't want me to come after your second you sure as shit better not come after my 4th.

Democrats are against all of that.
I still just cannot understand any Left logic on the pro-illegal-immigration stance. It's as if their belief system isn't really their own, but simply whatever the opposite of the Right is.
Speaking of crickets and pawns still not a peep from the base on this even after a week or more...

But the R's are the hypocrites. The dems have wrong positions on some of the issues, but they aren't saying one thing and doing another.
PrivilegedtobeWhite saysHuh? Is it your human right to enter my house without my permission? Your argument is a red herring.I still just cannot understand any Left logic on the pro-illegal-immigration stance.

What group of dumb asses were complaining about Obama's E.Os.

Melania's jacket.
What ever happened to that line - don't blame the children for the mistakes of their parents the prolifers love to use ?
Voters Blame Parents, Not Feds, For Border Children Crisis
Most voters blame the parents of the separated children at the border for the latest illegal immigration crisis, not the federal government.

Who's doing that?

Trump said he will not end the administration's "zero tolerance" policy of criminally prosecuting every adult who crosses U.S. borders illegally, including those seeking asylum.
"We're keeping families together and this will solve that problem. At the same time we are keeping a very powerful border and there continues to be a zero tolerance," Trump told reporters before he signed the order.
