They provided TGP with the following statement:

The idiots pick-axing Trump’s star on the Walk of Fame are the same as the Whining Acostas and High-Pitch Stelters of the fake media. They don’t understand that the Real Trump has infected America with winning fever, and like his star has infected the Walk of Fame — literally massing around and isolating cancerous stars like Blubbering Rob Reiner and Crying Jimmy Kimmel — the fever is spreading.

I am at loss about this stupidity - to a large extent, proliferation of various "tolerance", "diversity", "student success" and similar offices is the reason for huge increases in university tuition. One would think that in more conservative states legislature would put a stop to this via school regents (appointed by governor/legislature), who in turn have power to appoint Univ Presidents/Provosts. If Prez/Provost would be reasonable, they can de-fund and dismantle the PC Police. However, this does not happen - even formerly conservative schools such as Texas A&M are taken over by SJW's. Either state legislatures are stupid, or they do not care, or (in conservative states) they need a liberal boogeyman to scare their electorate into voting for them.

I think university presidents/provots and state legislatures are simply weak and fearful. They are afraid of protests, and of the press calling them racist etc.

This is one reason Trump is popular. All other politicians are deathly afraid of accusations in the press. Trump alone is not. Trump is amazing in that he stands up to the press and their relentless 100% negative coverage of him in spite of his accomplishments. People admire grit and spine in their leaders. They don't want "leaders" who crumple under the slightest public criticism.
